I read an article just the other day that forecast the Ghostface and Doom album as soon to come. I'll cop Fishscales for sure.

i'm seriously not trying to hate because i really like ghostface, but the doom beats on there are not new. i'm wondering why that took place and who's the dude that said it was cool. not a fan of rehashing shit on official artist albums like that.
but yeah, the doom/ghostface collab is coming before the end of the year on nature sounds. guaranteed...

Um....Ghost picked the beats. Keep in mind the average person has no idea who Doom is, so I doubt Ghost was thinking about people caring if they heard the beats or not.
From what I understand a dude from Ghost's camp had some Doom instrumental CDs, Ghost had never heard of Doom, but he liked some beats off the CDs and wanted to talk to Doom about using them. He hooked up with Doom and did the songs off "Fishscale" over the beats you heard....around that same time they also did 6-7 songs for the Ghost/Doom album.
So, blame Ghost's ear for the recycled beats. He picked the ones he liked and rapped over them.

i definitely know not everyone in the music biz has a fucking clue what other folks are up to. it's been that way since the shit took off way back when.
HOWEVER...it still bugs me and will forever bug me. i'm one of those dudes who likes to know that shit. if i'm gonna drop some of my own material...which i plan on doing some day...i wanna know who's flipped that shit in what way before me. if i'm a rapper picking beats, i DEFINITELY want to know if the shit has been used in some capacity before. if so, i move on to the next instrumental or cut a hot 16 for a mixtape and call it good.
just me maybe...

It kills me that no one has mentioned tracks like "Shakey Dog" or "The Champ" yet... also, "R.A.G.U." gets me nostalgic like a muh... and "Whip You With A Strap" is definitely on point... damn kids...
