I used to draw and pain a lot....sometime that shifted over more to music, but I've done art in some way shape or form my whole life....Actually wouldn't mind trying stand up comedy some time as well.

I was took when RUN DMC came out with KING OF ROCK because back then DJ's got lots of props, then people said that UTFO's MIXAMSTER ICE
had the best scratches, and then some said JAZZY JEFF was the best.
So I Skipped school and Made my goal to follow those pioneers.
And I do get cool comments from those who dig my hard practices.
Thanks I love yall too.

As an emcee: Wack is it may be...I rearranged the words to Ice,Ice Baby & everybody at my school thought it was dope...even though I was into Eric B, PE & Ice Cube @ the time...it kinda sad to say that Vannila Ice inspired my very 1st rap...
As a producer: I use to have a rinky dink Casio when I was little & I could play anything I heard by ear so I use to play alot of 80's pop stuff..Duran Duran, Tears for Fears..stuff like that...however when I 1st heard Main Sources "Lookin at the Front Door" I was blown away!!!! It totally changed the way I heard music & I knew I wanted to makes beats after that...

being the youngest of two brothers, one being sike, i always picked up on what they were doing and hiphop music was always in my veins, but at first i was more into the visual arts, drawing comic books was my shit, which came from my influences of sike's art work, but later on when he started working with such groups as The Guild (back then the Essays) Human Cropcircles and Ces Cru i was inspired to start writin rhymes myself, then funny enough at an 8th grade talent show i got my first taste of MCing and the rest was history

I knew I wanted to do music in some form or other when I was a kid, my Dads best friend was a DJ and my dad was always geting the latest records, I would always see him come home with an armload of new vinyl, and I knew I would be hearing some new glorious sounds creeping down the steps from his room.
I used to get on his double cassette player and be all, rewind play, rewind play,(like I was scratching) while the other deck played a song, it was pretty horrible, but what was a kid to do?

I don't feel like I am at any level to try to produce music, but I knew that I had to learn how to spin after the first time I saw DJ Imperial spinning for this college party in Springfield. That shit blew my mind.

I don't think there was single moment I can think of when I knew I wanted to make music. I always wanted to illustrate comic books, so I focused more on the visual arts as well. I've always loved music though. I remember sometimes I'd try to freestyle or beatbox. Basically I would just bang on things and make tunes, which I still do today. I don't know what it is, but whenever I stop moving for a second I have to bang on a table, or tap my pencil, stomp my foot or something. Anyway...a little over a year ago, my boy let me hear some of the beats he made on Fruity Loops and I was like, "hmmm...." I found me a copy of that and started making crappy beats quietly in my family room. Nobody even knew I made beats. My boy (ProRev) told me they were lookin for beats, so I showed em some of mine. And.....

i had been doing band shit in school since 5th grade...so music has always benn there
then in 1992 i was in a band with a kid named mark...we practiced at his house...
his older brother turned out to be DJP...
Danny's bedroom looked like a Radio Shack and a skate shop threw up in it...he was starting and stopping cassettes back then...record some shit, pause, get next mix ready, unpause, repeat...that shit blew my mind...
mark was the drummer in our band and he played Danny's kit which was this HUGE 22 piece red Lars looking kit..took up half the basement...
our band sucked total ass, but i copped my first DJP mixtape that way and was exposed to real hip-hop and djs by that experience...
then my dj interests were completly lead by DJ Platinum, DJP & DJ Imperial and my producing hopes started after hearing DJ Shadow's "Endtroducing" (of course)

Summer of '88 (Dating myself). I was spending the summer in Madison (Go, Badgers!), and my best friend had just copped EPMD "Strictly Business", Public Enemy "It Takes A Nation of Millions...", and the BDP single "The Bridge is Over." I've been in love ever since.
