One of The interesting things about any message board is

with that in mind, If you go to an event, report back your impressions so that we can see what it was and what happened.
so what's the big deal, if we had had this site when folks like basement chemists, dj fresh, tech9, vel bacardi, FLO and more were rockin the scene at their peak, we would have our history to guide us and others, we would have a manual so to speak of what's been tried, what worked, what needed tweeking from the exprience of those who went before. these folks I speak of are still with us and their wisdom needs to be recruited as we lift ourselves as indiviuals and the collective kc scene up to the next several levels of evolution.
so somebody please do recon for us. post your thoughts about every event you attend. be as in depth as you like.
break down the flow, structure, lineup, venue as a performance place, $$, stage presence of performers, drink specials, you name it GO THERE!

Thanks to those who are adding their impressions of events they attend.
I think over time, the reports will have a postive impact on other folks supporting hiphop shows more
by announceing an event with complete information you make it easier for folks to self select
because of the pre event discussion and questions, i think other folks gain needed information
giving that last minute [size=18:a9aa586575]reminder post that an event is TONIGHT[/size:a9aa586575] can catch the eye of a last minute fun seeking person
and last but far from least, I think post event descriptions [size=18:a9aa586575][u:a9aa586575]tentilate and stimulate more curiousity for some and offer another chance to relive show high points for those who attended.[/u:a9aa586575][/size:a9aa586575]
