I had a ball last night. Nice simple club with great bartender, good food and good sound and performances. first off, met up with my daughter in law Mz Lynn just outside the club. dj Jaz "on the sound" met us at the door. Inside it was just the right light and lots of folks talking and dancing in a wide open space with seating around the room and at the bar. the stage was poppin . Act after act took the stage in sets that lasted about 15 minutes. Not one boring act throughout the nite. (we left about 1:30 and it was still jumpin) folks were friendly, I saw lots of folks meeting up with friends and dappin. Some boy girl dance and some girl girl dancing, but there was dancing and lively conversation. My favorite parts of the nights were George (the G in G's jamacian kitchen) introducing himself to me in his apron, watching "the Popper" work the room with his new mixed tape cd and later took the stage and rocked the house, the bartender's smile as I tipped him, how well ran the event was and james christos and of course Joe Good on stage together. Joe opened his set with an original poem that asked for a moment of silence for all whos lives have been lost this past year, naming names, and insisting on the peace for their lives (increase da peace tour). He delivered his set without flaw and the crowd ate it up. James Christos' set was hotter than ever, you couldn't help but move. Hi Qiana It felt like old home week as dj Fresh walked in and started talking with folks as they came up to him. The food smelled and looked great! alas, I was full and not in need of a snack. but I watched others eating with delight. It was a great night for 3/C's Entertainment from the front to the back doors. thanks Flo. I'll be back, soon. ps good to see you willis and hope coral feels better real soon peace nrg
