this was my 18th(?) show since i started in June. it went well all things considered. Lawrence is gonna be a hard place to play for awhile after that shooting i think. it was an intimate crowd, probably 20 people in the spot throughout the night. both Left and Moody came with new material that was dope. if anyone's ever seen Left live you know he always drops mostly freestyles, which is dope bc he's a beast off the top, but this time he did 5 or 6 tracks in his set. Emc killed. Never seen him live before so, i didn't know what to expect. His Dj, Aether impressed me alot as well. Definitely one of the best Dj's i've seen. He did a new (new to me) joint w/ Left and I.D., who made a cameo. It's real nice. My set was what it always is, full of crowd participation and lyrics. I forgot my first verse to 'Finally' for whatever reason. It still came off well though. All in all the night was a success. i got to meet I.D. which was dope bc i heard alot of his stuff a long time ago when i first recorded the Ep with Quest. set up some future collabos w/ him, and hopefully i can get him on my Lp. which is turning out to be quite a project, i won't say much else for anticipatory reasons. another dope night of hip hop. as always
