On Friday, November 13th, [url=http://www.myspace.com/abandcalledmouth]Mouth[/url] & [url=http://www.popfreeradio.com]PopFreeRadio[/url] present: [b:c59ffa99a2]A NIGHT OF LIVE HIP HOP AT THE SCION LAB[/b:c59ffa99a2], featuring performances by [b:c59ffa99a2]Reach[/b:c59ffa99a2], [b:c59ffa99a2]thePhantom*[/b:c59ffa99a2], [b:c59ffa99a2]Dutch Newman[/b:c59ffa99a2], [b:c59ffa99a2]Godson[/b:c59ffa99a2] and [b:c59ffa99a2]Swayzorbladez[/b:c59ffa99a2], and special guests to be announced.
The idea for this show was for [url=http://www.myspace.com/abandcaledmouth]Mouth[/url] to pick five of their favorite local emcees, come up with live arrangements for two or three songs by each artist, and then perform them as sort of a giant live mix tape. This is going to be a really fun and unique show, don't miss it.
[url=http://www.popfreeradio.com]PopFreeRadio[/url] will be broadcasting live from the show.
We're gonna end the night with an open mic.
Show starts at 9 p.m. 18 and over. $5 at the door.
The Scion Lab is located on the east side of Oak Street, between 18th Street and 19th Street, right behind Grinder's and CrossroadsKC.

Also a quick reminder that this show will feature an OPEN MIC, so any and all emcees are encouraged to come sit in.

Couple of quick updates: 1) Dan Gable of Smoking Elephant Studios will be out to record this entire show. Dan does excellent work and all of his recordings sound sick. 2) There will be a cash bar provided by Grinders.
And once again, there will be an OPEN MIC after the performances by Mouth, Reach, thePhantom*, Dutch Newman, Godson and Swayzorbladez, so ANY AND ALL emcees are encouraged to come out and get on the mic.
Doors open at 9 p.m. See you there!
