He has come to teach, to show everyone that Ragga jungle is more than just remixes of old jungle classics. “There are so many talented dancehall and reggae artists that are being overlooked by a lot of producers…I like to try and showcase the true voice of Jamaica, from foundation to the present, not just recycle the old choons…" His Goal is to take Ragga-Jungle to a new level, where it is recognized as a true form of reggae, a new way of looking at reggae if you will, and get it out of the same basket as other electronic music styles, away from the Candy Kids, and remove the Drum and Bass stigma that comes with the word, Jungle. Twin is currently voicing specials from Reggae artists such as Johnny Osbourne, Ras Shilo and Capleton as well as planning on working w/ newer artists, making actual jungle choons, as opposed to VIP rmxs....vocals made for the choon,etc. It’s music to make any soundbwoy run home to dey mum…However when I tell peeps what I play for category, I tell dem I play mash up Ragga jungle, so they know its nah stepper biz. He haves new VIP dubs in the works using vocals from: King Tubby( tribute), Cocoa Tea, Home T, and Cutty Ranks, Capleton, Sizzla, Bounty killer, Elephant man, Scare Dem crew and Buccaneer, Banana Man, Sugar Minott, Lukie D and Axe man, and too many others. With several hype mix CD’s and some epic performances to his name Twinhooker has really made a name in Ragga-Jungle for himself as a man to be watched out for behind the decks.
