Damn, are you rocking a set or releasing a brand new video game?! That commercial is fresh.

fresh commercial indeed.... i don't think anybody will act brand new, but if you keep doing shows every blue moon they will.... Rhyme Dope Work Harder....
  4. Jul 8, 2009 02:43am by CraigSmith
Ayo, I work hard all the time. It's a matter of what I've seen. My point behind that statement is: Dont act as if you cant come to my show but you'll go to the same ol show every week or every other. My "blue moon" shows aren't an excuse for anyone to act brand new. Not at all. Performing every once in a while should make a nigga want to come to my shows. I threw this show my damn self and it's the FIRST time I've thrown my OWN show because I'm not amongst your "acclaimed" artists around here. I've got more material recorded and ready than alot of you so I do not need to work harder. You cant criticize what you dont know. Act brand new if you want to; I dont NEED a fake ass person to try to help me. That goes for anybody who thinks I need to WORK HARDER and doesn't come to my shows, hear my music, or know my history. And I'm upset because I didn't post this to get any criticism or any sideways comments. I posted it for people to look at it and decide if they'd like to come to a show. I did this commercial and no one else is doing shit like that for shows. I dont have anywhere else to go but up... I'm working hard my dude. Dont think any different. I record, perform, and before today, I did respect. Come to the show or dont but for all of you who think that I'm not working hard, I'm 21 and bubbling. You dont know me and alot of you dont want to. DONT. Just disinvolve yourself with Craig Smith. Support or dont.

1st Wow. 2nd Although that seemingly enormous chip on your shoulder shows a great deal of spirit, it also makes you look a bit immature. I respect the defense of your work ethic, although to be honest I'm completely indifferent to it. Whether you do or dont work hard is and will always be completely in your court, I am not Craig Smith. 3rd My statement was far to the other side of anything that should have been construed as negative. In fact my 2 cents was aimed to be more in the motivational or advisorial role, not that you OBVIOUSLY need either of those types of commentary. In the end you chose to interpret it otherwise (i.e. incorrectly), and go about your respective rants based on assumptions you might have made about artists in this scene and myself. 4th If YOU knew more of me you'd understand i show love to everybody. My last 3 mixtapes have been recorded and mixed completely by a member of iN Crew (Smoov), who also has an iN crew member living with him that was playing w/ my son for hours the last session i had (Godi), my go to emcee for a dope 16 is in Soul Servers (Lou Rip), my album that drops next month was completely produced by a member of iN Crew (D/Will), i think the hottest emcee in the city right now is your good friend (Greg Enemy). I'm not inclusive to a select few "acclaimed" emcees as you said. Although I understand why you replied the way you did bc i've heard that alot of younger emcees, including yourself, in the city have a different perspective on "crews" and "veteran emcees", and what we represent. If that was "young" anger seeping through to your keyboard Ii can respect that bc many years ago i was 21 too. But, at the end of the day I can loosely speak for alot of heads and say it's FUCK A CREW we're here to make the dopest music possible, all of us.

What is an "acclaimed" artist? That sounds like a way to marginalize people who might get love and respect in this town. And it echoes a growing sentiment among a certain class of younger emcees that I've been hearing time and time again. I haven't been compelled to really speak on it yet, but it's wearing thin on me. It really is. Honestly Craig, I'm quite bit confused by your take. I've read your post multiple times to make sure I understand it clearly. The message comes out the same each time. And it smacks of "come to my show or you're brand new". I don't get that.
  7. Jul 8, 2009 02:53pm by CraigSmith
I made NO assumptions and named NO names. I said, "anybody who thinks I need to WORK HARDER and doesn't come to my shows, hear my music, or know my history" My statement on ACCLAIMED artists isn't about a crew. It's about priority. People in this scene put alot of wack rappers on a higher priority list than me or some other people that I have seen do a better job than those that I keep seeing. I dont need you to tell me who all you work with because it's got nothing to do with me. I took your statement, and still take your statement, as a smart remark. That's not the first time YOU have made me scratch my head about something you've said in these forums. With that said, you dont motivate with pessimism. ("but if you keep doing shows every blue moon they will....") Also, you are not my advisor and dont ever think you are. This also isn't the first time I've heard someone question my work ethic. It pisses me off. I know how you meant it and it's exactly like that. Sorry that it had to be in response to you Milk but the overall opinions on me as an artist and what I do to facilitate my future in music have to be addressed. That goes for me and any other "young" person that anyone (NOT JUST MILK DROP) wants to analyze. I'm not apart of a damn scene anymore because alot of people (maybe not you, MILK) think their better than others (NOT JUST ME) WHEN THEY ARE NOT... that's why this scene isn't going anywhere. I'm better than this. I wouldn't advise anyone who's serious about persuing music as a career to stick around. Right now, it's not about the initial statements anymore, so, Milk Drop, this isn't aimed at you because NOW I'm ranting on some stuff that this has evoked. I wanted to just share my moves with people but this has made me realize how pointless that is among this scene. It's retarded to think that anyone can make an impact on people OUTSIDE of the scene from the middle of it. That's my mistake. It's all a bunch of the same stuff... I'm out. The things I hate about KC are all manifest in the other areas of the social scene when it comes to music. Being in the midst of people who refuse to grow up and out has got me bent up. I dont wanna be apart of the "scene". It's stupid. People look like damn fools trying to be bigger than they are to the same people every time they perform or release something. That's the nature of a scene... To BE a scene. Unfortunatel, this scene just isn't big enough for all the egos... Especially not mine, honestly. Take this as a statement to denounce any allegiance or loyalty to any scene. I feel it has to be a big deal for it to be taken serious. If you read all of this, you obviously are curious or care... Don't say otherwise... Keep trying to please the same people , be accepted by the same people, keep doing the shows for the same 20 people and you'll get N-O-W-H-E-R-E... This isn't directed at anyone in particular but those of you who fall under thi category should know, when you get over yourself, who you are...
  8. Jul 8, 2009 03:00pm by CraigSmith
Saying, "dont act brand new" is for those who go out ALL THE TIME and are always at a show to support but only support certain artists. Basically, dont act like you can't come to my show because I'm not your homeboy or because I'm not in a crew... If the people here dont show up... No hard feelings for people not coming to a show and it's definitely not a statement that I follow up on... My point in that is to say, I'm throwing a show on Saturday, I want people to come, and to the people who think... "Oh, it's a Craig Smith show... he's not in my clique or crew so I'm not going" (EVEN THOUGH YOU NIGGAS KNOW MY NAME).... Stop actin brand new...

I understand how my statement(s) could've been taken so your opinion is valid. I wont retract it, bc I know it wasnt intentionally being demeaning to you or your progress. My sense of humor simply isn't something you're accustomed to, which is fine bc only those that truly know me really are anyways. the "RHYME DOPE WORK HARDER" isnt a thrown dart, but more of a battle cry. Meaning if you feel that although you are working harder than emcees who have recognition and aren't as skillfull, then continue to rhyme and work harder. You will never be able to outrap everyone but what will set you a part is your work ethic, which i know you understand. You took it as me questioning your work ethic, which is fine bc that assures me that the next time you feel criticized you'll be able to accept it and use it to fuel your music. The "blue moon" statement was more of a testimony to how the scene is here, if you haven't learned its disgustingly fickle. Meaning people might or might not know who you are now, but if you do shows sporadically it definitely won't help people to know or feel like they need to know you or your music. Thats just how people are here. I think the major problem or cause of deviseness amongst the different age groups in KC is the lack of communication for one. Which leads to alot of theories on each other's respective views being miscontrued. The main one being that in general that the younger generation has a stigma about them that respect or recognition should be given to them. For some of you (i.e. Greg) respect should definitely be warranted in some regards for what he's done to date. Others, I honestly get lost when I see that they have this mindset that doing 1 show every 6 months or dropping 1 mixtape ever means that they should be included in mention with those that have been doing "it" for a decade. The stigma about the older cats is that we're "clickish" or "cocky" because some of "us" are honestly inclusive to certain artists. Unfortunately that's something that has been going on before and since I've been in the scene. And most of that is because those artists are inclusive out of necessity to their ego, bc those they include are most times the only ones that respect them and their music. I try to pass as much as I can to the talent of your generation, at least to those i know won't take it for granted. I stay on Dutch's ass constantly bc he had some of the same perspectives that you did about gaining respect or "proving" himself. I told him specifically and i'll tell you the same, "Drop DOPE product and they wont be able to tell you anything". he did that and even people who didn't care for him started to consider applying for membership to his bandwagon. I tell Greg everytime i see him to keep working and keep grinding, none of this is probably necessarily relevant to you. its more to show that there are actually those of "us" that take the time to have an interest in the future of our city's music. and i cant honestly say if i'm even included in the "us", bc i know for a fact that i still have much to prove to alot of people much like yourself. i'll never forget a quote from a verse from a collab i did with Joe Good: "there's no I in team but there's a U in us, so if i dont move we dont move and our crew is bust".....
  11. Jul 8, 2009 07:10pm by CraigSmith
There is no problem with people of different ages... There's a problem with people. As many people as I've been around in my six years of recording music and soakin up game, I would expect for THIS scene to be better with their attitudes toward each other. I know people from other sides of music who are better to be around because they're progressive and they are honest. Stop making it seem like the problem is just an age thing because it's not. It's definitely a priority issue and a complacent spirit amongst alot of people that screams "stuck in KC!" It's time to start being consumer based... I should be proving myself to consumers... Not other artists... ESPECIALLY not other artists who are doing the same thing I'm doing. Dutch doesn't have to prove himself to a bunch of other RAPPERS... What sense does that make? Once again, Milk. I'm just presenting this. It's not to call you out on anything, this is just how I see things. I dont know you and I can't call you out on a thing about your music, life, or your support factor. Please dont think I'm trying to bash YOU!
  12. Jul 8, 2009 07:41pm by dirge
To me, you raise more questions that you answer, Craig Smith. Aren't you the one who started the freshman/senior class thing? You have to give respect to get it. -Vrt
  13. Jul 8, 2009 07:58pm by CraigSmith
I DID raise it... At the time, I gave a damn about people respecting me... Even through this conversation, things are becoming clearer... Now that I realize that not one person in this local area dictates my future, I dont need to dwell on anyone being older and creating a possibility for me. If a person wanted to help, they would. I dont owe a rapper any respect for being a rapper longer than me.
  14. Jul 8, 2009 08:09pm by dirge
^ LOL! I'm now out of this conversation. I guess experience has nothing to do with anything.
  15. Jul 8, 2009 08:16pm by CraigSmith
Doing something longer doesn't always mean you learn the same thing from the experience. If someone has alot of experience being an asshole... They're still an asshole... I don't like the things I see amongst this atmosphere. A buncha lame shit goes on. I must say tho, there are people who've shown me things that make me want to aspire to do great things. At the same time, there are people my age who I look up to because of the things they have accomplished and are going to accomplish. There isn't any way to tell me that I NEED to respect a certain person when I dont feel I need to. There's no arguing about that. Period.
  16. Jul 8, 2009 08:24pm by MilkDrop - http://milkisrhyming.blogspot.com/ www.myspace.com/soulofmycity www.myspace.com/soulproviderscrew Location: First City, KS
I understand you're not bashing me, the main reason I'm presenting my opinion to you is because in my experience I've been on both sides of the fence. I've been both the "newbie" and now i guess the "vet", although alot of the time i still feel more like the first rather than the latter. I'm not saying that the problem is in age or levels of experience from my point of view, but the reality of the situation presents itself otherwise. There is and always has been a divide between those that feel they are more prominent and those fresh on the scene. There hasn't been a bridge yet to secure the proverbial gap, and honestly there probably won't be. I'm not saying respect of peers should ever be more prevalent than creating a fan base w/ consumers in and outside of this city. What I'm saying is that it's the reality here. 95% of the "consumers" at shows here, are rappers. For the most part all we do is rap for rappers unless we tour, which most of us don't do consistently enough to be mentioned. I do think that if you made yourself available more, especially now that you're 21 your view on things here would maybe not necessarily change, but be broadened. i'm almost positive that there's alot of positive and negative things that you haven't seen just yet that might help you in your journey, and in turn help someone else out.
  17. Jul 8, 2009 08:36pm by CraigSmith
You, sir, have just exposed and further validated my point. I'm no longer apart of this whole KC scene thing because there are mostly rappers at shows and online. There IS another way other than trying to please a bunch of rappers. That's something that, in all the experience that anyone can quote, will probably stay the same. Rappers will keep performing for each other and it will go nowhere. I refuse to be apart of that. It's basically damning oneself to a cycle of frustration.
  18. Jul 8, 2009 08:58pm by Lucidialect
Damn man, anybody you got interested by checking out that commercial might just as soon have lost interest when you started ranting about the scene. Not to imply your feelings aren't valid or whatever, but might be better left to a different thread. That's all I'm saying.
  19. Jul 8, 2009 09:16pm by trystyl - www.myspace.com/trystyl Location: KCMO
i agree on almost everything CS has stated... I have said it many times before... No one is going to help you achieve what you deem "making it" except you, yourself. however, i will say that a certain amount of respect should be given to certain people in kc that are, or have been, involved in hiphop... based only on the fact that without them people would be unable to perform in certain areas and in certain venues, i.e. alot of people would not be heard on a slightly larger scale. there will always someone before you, no one expects to be idolized but recognition of accomplishment is impossible to deny.
  20. Jul 8, 2009 09:33pm by CraigSmith
Honestly, I dont want to start another thread because I'm just about done promoting on here and to the same folks. So, this may be the last thread I'm apart of. I'm not saying that I dont respect anyone. My position is that of someone who has seen what people are capable of and I respect those who deserve it. I urge everyone to do the same. There are people on this site that I RESPECT. People on this site that I see all the time that I can say have the potential to go somewhere and I see why they are who they are. All "veterans" aren't in that category just because they've been around. I don't like alot of the music I hear so it makes me upset when the "club of emcees" validates someone who is obviously garbage only because they are friends or because they're name is regular in the mouths of the same 10 folks...

And you are telling me if your best friend was wack as fuck you would not do a show with him? Friends do things for each other based upon friendship not only on hiphop standards. i am sorry but you seem to be kinda shooting holes in your arguments here
  22. Jul 8, 2009 10:36pm by CraigSmith
That's not a contradiction... I'm upset about it so I dont want to be apart of it. The fact that I'm explaining it doesn't make it a contradiction. You ask me any question regarding this matter and my responses are the SAME!!! I DONT need any of the support of people who halfway care. That's why this is coming out and why I dont want to be apart of this... BECAUSE I'M UPSET!!!
  23. Jul 8, 2009 10:52pm by trystyl - www.myspace.com/trystyl Location: KCMO
okay man you are losing me now... so you no longer want to be part of the "scene" because no rapper will validate you and you disagree with others peoples opinions on who should be validated? the whole idea of being validated is kinda ludicrous anyway, nobody validated me. I made friends with other like minded individuals that i respected, nobody waived a magic wand and said you are now valid and i will do tracks and shows with you. I am really trying to understand all this because i honestly feel like you brought up interesting issues that are worth exploring. Can you break it down cause i guess i am not following you any longer, i know you have already poured alot out but for my sake maybe a few key points and opinions?
  24. Jul 9, 2009 03:14am by CraigSmith
Once again, I do NOT need any validation. The fact that rappers are cliquish is not the only thing that I am upset with... In fact, it's not even a matter of being mad at anyone in particular. I don't like the mindset... It appears to me that there are a lot of individuals who are complacent and don't have the capacity to go forward. That keeps them trapped in this scene. I WILL NOT BE TRAPPED. That's it. That's all... The chip on my shoulder is a product of being in the midst of people who are stagnant and taking them serious... I am done with all that. This is why I don't want to be apart of this...

Oh this is some good stuff .... there hasn't been a real JUICY thread like this on here in a while. my two (18 year old) cents ... are as follows ... Craig I feel what your saying I feel what Milks been saying, Reach, Trystyl, Dirge, everybody ... everybody is making good points. But I cant really connect though to how yall feel really because I just make beats I'm not an MC. So the "scene" is different for me and like 5 other people who JUST produce.... BUTT ... I can say that (in my experiences) if you feel as if the "scene" isnt feeding your abilities to progress ... then simply go elsewhere. Cuz remember ... the BIGGEST artists in KC don't perform around here. You gotta just hustle creatively (which really was the whole point of this thread, with your video)

Hahahaha, damn, I respect EVERYONE in this thread, period, simply because I respect my fellow human beings. that being said.... #1 - Cliques are a human thing, NOT a Hip Hop thing, like minded people congregate and tend to attend similar events / hang out together etc...... Cliques are like an extended family and we ALL have that, I would think. #2 - What if someone elses goals arent YOUR goals, for example,I have gone somewhere, I HAVE succeeded, I wanted to be known in KC, I am. I wanted to be respected by the artists that I respect, I am. People know my name , I do not have to introduce myself, this is what I wanted to accomplish, I did. I smile alot about these things. If you want to "blow up" and make a living at this Hip Hop thing, then good luck to each and everyone of you, I sincerely hope that you do, I have a career, as do my fellow Cropcircles crew mates, money isn't an issue for me or my future, I do hip hop for the love of the culture, and always will. I really wish I knew why the next generation of KC hip hop is sabotaging itself, I mean no ill will or disrespect toward anyone, I want to be a fan ,but the representation of yourselves lately rings of highschool underclassman resentment for the seniors, and we never even hazed you. Love Rich.

although i dont necessarily feel like i need to, i'll explain myself. what i wrote may come across disrespectful or rude, because it was out of anger and frustration with what i've seen as a whole. i wont apologize about what was actually said, because i stand by it 100%. i used the tone and words i used to so people could grasp how serious i am. there is nothing in this "scene" that i see as beneficial for my success, only detrimental, so i am withdrawing myself completely. this is the last mention of it i'll make, on this site and anywhere. you wont see me at shows "supporting" other artist, collaborating with other artist, or being cordial to other artists. theres no point to it. Milk, im glad you didnt lose sleep over it, because frankly its nothing to lose sleep over. the fact that any mention has been made of it shows me that it ruffled somebody's feathers, but i would hope that people would follow your lead and just keep it moving. you a cool dude, one of the VERY few i've met that seem genuine. but there seems to be a perpetuation of alot more negative than positive, and i cant be involved with that personally. so im out. ...and for the record, my statement wasnt "whiny", just an opinion i developed while observing and being involved. the fact that you mention "battle rapping" as a means to solve anything, only further proves this isnt a place for me. and thats it.
  32. Jul 9, 2009 06:26pm by Seph.Vs.TooN.
yo in my eyes it breaks down really easy first and foremost if you're throwing shows and people aren't showing up that's your bag not the scenes. i've thrown/played shows that weren't mostly rappers/producers/DJs but fans and people interested in whatever buzz they've heard from news articles, friends, or the streets. it truly is possible... people who say they grind hard and i never see a flyer for your shows... sorry, "we don't believe you you need more people". I've seen every rapper who's making moves on the hiphop side of our scene at least once and tried to build with every single one of them on some level but, if you're at a venue saying fuck the DJs and the venue in a public forum i see no reason to network with or help push someone I'll end up apologizing for. now with that being said i still give motherfuckers a chance to rock. I'm not calling anyone out i just think that this is relevant to the conversation at hand. on the promotion side of things this is a business. just like your job (or your parents if you don't have a job) you present a certain type of face... second as for the whole screw the scene talk which i've heard from a lot of people. i hate to be the one to tell you this but wherever you go it's going to be the same. i have friends and have been deeply entrenched in the la, tampa, and chicago scenes and the same shit we all bitch about they bitch about it won't be any different. i believe the midwest better yet kansas city is a harder road but i believe it has the bigger pay out. what ever tactics we use to get ourselves out there will be emulated the second we're through using them. look at our biggest rap cats most of that success is great home grown effort, timing, and pushing themselves outside of city limits. I've said this before and have no qualms about stating it this is the healthiest our scene has ever been, PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT!!!!!!!! once again if you're not feeling like you're getting the love you deserve then remap the strategy. all of us are trying to get out there and there is no upper echelon... just keep moving... third... this is kind of like the hiphop is dead thing... so ah you make hiphop and hiphop is dead? so ah you're in the scene regardless of how much you want to say fuck it... so everyone who does continue with this i hate the scene crap i'll just limit it to saying i hate you fuck you you can get stomped out you should be raped you should be beaten you should be dead you should be stabbed you should have a quarter stick shoved up you ass and sewed shut you should get a job you should of minded your parents you look best with those matching black eyes you look awesome performing to empty crowds you you you you... we're in this together every success that one of gets trickles down. if you want to build lets build past that fuck off and start a scene in clinton missouri Kartoon Sephiroth Raymond Exseptism i really didn't mean to offend anyone...

Toon you're a crazy son of a bitch. Greg. I love your music man. Why would you make a statement that alienates people from wanting to listen to it?. I've lost interest in so many artist's music just by getting to know too much of their personality. As a fan, I wish people would keep this shit to themselves. If you feel the need to take a stand, do so in your heart or your music, not on twitter or hiphopkc. Honestly, that makes it hard for people to take you seriously.

Greg, it was/is disappointing to see that you feel the way you do, but at the end of the day it doesnt effect my view of the potential that i believe you carry in your music. I've heard alot of shit 2nd hand about alot of shit lately that's been interesting and disheartening to try to process for me personally. It's hard for me to try to be both part peacekeeper and attackee since i hold loyalties to so many. At some point i know i'ma have to direct my thoughts about this and other matters brought to my attention, hate to say it. it's not in me to lay dormant. with that said: i dont think anyone should truly get inside their feelings bc you did or didnt mention them in a Twitter post. 95% of the stuff i put on Twitter is outlandish myself. Alot of what you said though to be honest you shouldve definitely kept locked away, even though i know you stick by your words there is a process that you will learn if you haven't on how to be a bit more diplomatic. Trust me i got myself in trouble for saying alot of shit towards certain "vets" when i was a "newbie". It only leads to potentially burning bridges before theyre built. don't know if this is a convincing argument to where your mind is at right now, but i think itd be a waste if you completely withdraw yourself. get at me elsewhere if i can offer anymore insight....

Every single one of you needs to stop taking things so personally. I've said it before. There IS NO SCENE. There's just a city with a bunch of people doing their thing. Do yours.

sike - brilliant grassnasty - perfect drew - too much truth.. You're boring!! seriously. no seriously. If the internet goes down and or we lose power. What will happen to the beef? If a tree falls and your mom is making pancakes. What type of syrup will you use? If i read the first page of posts because friends (famous friends, of course, I would except nothing less) mentioned this "drama" as if it was significant, what would it look like? what would i say? Oh wait.. I recorded it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kbn5xUNo6eg [b:ea78aa71c4]MY OFFICIAL RESPONSE:: as follows.[/b:ea78aa71c4].. Read all about it! People in KC Hip Hop scene have internal Brady Bunch - esque drama naw... its all as real as you feel it is. This is sad to me. I spend time in and out of the scene. In Lawrence and KC. I am a designer but I hear people's reactions to the new music made by people without going to shows as well as the ones by people standing outside talking about their first listens. Fly on the wall, so to speak. You have a presence online, off-line, by word of mouth, by a cd that's passed... I do not want to see artists stop making music because they support is not there. It is there even when shows are empty. Rome was not built in a day. K... I hardly get on here but there is my two bits. Let the buzz grow and keep on doing your thing. IDon't stop. Perseverance always pays off. -Amber

I feel your grief Craig! Every Summer the virus gets passed onto somebody being overlooked or told they need to "just do you" or "step yo game up". [i:3705e01c25]I know what its like for people to know that all you do is make beats, but not invite you to rep your city in a battle. You gotta beg. Then go up against people with turntables and a track thats been out for over a year, while you come with new fresh shit! [/i:3705e01c25] Thats whack! I like how certain people are like, "you gotta pay your dues, before you get respect." and in the same breath say "Newcomer Greg Enemy" is the dopest. [quote:3705e01c25]Keep trying to please the same people , be accepted by the same people, keep doing the shows for the same 20 people and you'll get N-O-W-H-E-R-E... [/quote:3705e01c25] TRUTH. Now this is gonna offend people that call themselves veterans, but remember most veterans only get respect for what they have done, not what they [i:3705e01c25]will[/i:3705e01c25] do! Soon to be holding will work for food signs in this game. Thats why I have moved on, the people who write the papers or frequent this site, don't even come to my shows @ the ScionLab, (guess they like seeing the same thing over and over and over and over again. However I get the satisfaction of knowing that I'm doing something completely different than anyone in the city. Where else can you go on the first sunday of every month and see Art, HipHop, Rock and Roll and drink as much as you can. (and the beer is drink ably good too, not some shit called like butternut squash ale). Soda, the Artist sold a piece for $200.00 dollars, from the first show, another artists got signed to a small deal, all because of Locals only at the Scion Lab. Hardly anyone from this small HipHop "scene" was there, but people who had no exposure to HipHop were. I have new friends and fans outside the so-called scene. Deuce Fontane keeps bringing heaters to the battles, and the artists have been of the chain too. I don't know how the Soul servers brought that heat twice in one weekend, but they did. PEACE btw. I remember posting some stuff about respecting Lil' Wayne and how he was going to blow up, people said I was crazy. This was before his last album. dig for the post. Acting Brand new is black slang for "Emcees act like they don't know!" or You bedda ask somebody, or like you are new to the info. duh? Nothing on this site has changed. 🙁
