Fire.....all I gotta say. I honestly don't see how an Eminem fan wouldn't like this album, it's impressive. His lyricism/rhyme patterns is next level.....first time he's ever recorded SOBER, now aint that some shit?

em's patterns on this are crazy. not a huge fan of the gory shit but he does it well... there is some really fucked up material on this album. Beats go back and forth some are fire some are lack luster. the only track em produced sounds like some underground shiz, i love that track except for the hook, i can't take his singing

I just listened and I am completely disappointed.

c/s with what trys said 'underground' and 'beautiful' are my fav tracks, but i still have minor probs with them. i expected worse for the album, it's cool.

He should have named the album RECYCLE not RELAPSE.
  9. May 10, 2009 07:39pm by Fur1ous - "She said, 'who the fuck died and made you God?' I said, Jesus"
I dunno, to me...amidst the cookyness he really opens up and makes some major admissions, I think the album is very personal in a way and is leaps and bounds beyond "Encore" or "Eminem Show" for that matter. For those of you that are disappointed, what were u expecting? I feel like this is classic Eminem and lines right up with the Slim Shady LP and Marshall Mathers LP. Relapse 2 later this year.....I'm lovin it!

No on is touching Eminem with alliteration. His patterns are another story..Jesus Christ. The only cat I see doing it so meticulously is Tech N9ne. I'm not that huge of a fan of what he's talking about though haha. Either way, the album was done well.

Not feeling it at all... It sounds forced. Maaaaaaaaaad disappointed....

The bonus tracks....Are the most interesting tracks on the album ,he attempts to explain why he sucks, I have a feeling that RELAPSE 2 is going to be dope, he may have planned this shit. MY DARLING http://rghost.ru/243778 CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR http://rghost.ru/243779

'Careful What You Wish For' is cool. Relapse sucks. Eminem is an incredible rapper who now raps about inane bullshit. Still, if this was his first album out, and no one had heard his previous ones, he'd blow up.

    trash
  16. May 18, 2009 01:11pm by dirge
I like it. I like the rhyme patterns the most. He's not covering any new subjects but I think it's pretty decent. I thought Dr. Dre beats would be a lot more John Blazing but it is what it is. I like Deja Vu, Must Be The Ganja, Bagpipes From Baghdad and the Intro is mad funny to me. I haven't peeped the bonus songs yet...I'm gonna do that now. -Vrt

I just listened to the whole joint this morning. It's ok, beats are awful for the most part. There's some entertaining moments on, maybe that just the 13 year old in me(no homo). As far as rapper's killing right now. Get Busta's new mixtapes and exclusive releases. He's killing everyone in the game right now. I wanted to add this to this post cause some of yall were talking about Em's alliteration and enunciation. I am of the opinion the Busta's still one of the best to do it and gets left of of a lot of peoples top 10 lists. I'm sure his album is going to suck for the most part, but everything he has been putting out in advance of it is amazing. Miles can I get a cosign?

^busta is sick, but somebody tell me when he started slangin that china white? I can roll with the Clipse doing that shit, cause they do it the best, AND their old manager just got hemmed up for moving a ton of coke so you know dudes were involved somehow..but not Busta bust anyway, Clipses new mixtape is sick too 8) oh, that new eminem, not feeling it 😛

I love Busta, but he possesses no qualities that someone desires to, or already does, see in themselves. He's also one of the trendiest rappers in the game. He also doesn't ever go away for longer than a week. Seriously, take like 2 years off and make us miss you. To me, he has always been a B+++++++ rapper. Charisma through the roof, his rhymes and patterns are monsters when he wants them to be. He has also done some real creative singles. He doesn't really have a weakness about him, except for the fact that he is almost impossible to identify with. He doesn't have an ounce of Kurt Cobain in him. Or Michael Jordan. Or Batman. He is like the top tier second rate rapper to me.

Busta's one of the hypest rappers ever, and his delivery is amazing! But his lyrical content is about as deep as spilled can of Diet Pepsi. 😆 😆 😆

Busta Rhymes is woefully underappreciated. He gets passed over far too often when the conversation about the all-time greats comes up. This guy's done everything that could've been asked of him. Originality? Check. Creativity? Check. Catalog? Check. Commercial viability? Check. Skill? Check. Delivery? Check. Lyrics? Check. Content? Check. He has at least 1 classic album to his credit. He's been commercially viable for an entire decade. He's maybe the most versatile rapper the genre's ever known. He's as adaptable to the industry landscape as any emcee I can recall. He's still relevant. He never really compromised the lyricism despite how the industry has changed. He has career-defining material. He's on my top 10 all-time list with a bullet. Big Bang was amazing album. 10 full years into his career. Not many artists can boast an album like BB that deep into their careers. He has character. Just not identity. There is no Kurt Cobain in him at all.
