    Ok so here's how the first night went: Miles and I get there and it's not many people there, but the vibe and energy is RIGHT! So we start playing records and it just feels warm, i mean, warm like breaking bread with friends and family that you have missed for so long warm. The music was kind, gentle, and commanding at times, just the way we like here in KC 🙂 A few friends dropped by and we enjoyed some food, music and drinks with them (soda for me, of course 🙂 ) As the night continues, i realize that i've been trapped into thinking that Mondays are only for dreading the coming week and longing for the past weekend. I couldn't have been more wrong! Mondays are really for celebrating and setting the tone for a wonderful week! Miles and I have the unique privledge of providing the soundtrack for you to set your tone with! I know it's an unusually night to come out, and that many of us have to be up early on Tuesday,( i have to be up at 6am), but i'm not suggesting that you stay the entire night. Why don't you try this, make it a goal to visit some upcoming Monday, stay for a while, enjoy the sounds (i'm sure you will), and let's start the slow but enjoyable process of freeing ourselves from our former perception of what Mondays were! A Case of the Mondays is a night for you. I look forward to seeing each and everyone of you. Love and Respect, JocMax
