his speech was brilliant. i've haven't heard such inspiring words come from a politician in my lifetime. makes me think, just for a moment, that maybe things aren't as bad as they seem. then i here guns clap in the distance.
were any of you also impressed with the classiness of McCain's concession speech? He was almost like his old self again.

I love the fact that the nation got to hear McCain supporters boo their new President, shows class on their part. They wouldn't even let him speak, kept shouting out shit like they still had some sort of chance, "You deserve more!" Ha.
Obama made J.McCain and S.Palin seem like saints.
I'm so glad no one booed when Obama said he received his call. I love the fact that he encompassed a 100+ old Black Woman to represent his inspiration for starting his Presidency.
There was 200,000 people, at his acceptance speech. 1964 was the last time that many people voted...Lyndon B. Johnson
I can finally wave my flag for a day. then burn it tomorrow.

Right? Had he spoken like that for his campaign, I at least would have had a tougher time making up my mind. Though I would still have voted for Obama.

Its too bad every one expects him to fail. Ralph Nader is a Hater. He was all over the radio this morning. I know what Obamas policies are, but give that man a chance to get in that house built by slaves before you condemn him.
Cynthia McKinney seemed hopeful.

broker I'm with ya. I heard John Kennedy's ask not speech and I was
impressed that President Elect Obama's victory speech did in 18 minutes all that was needed to set the tone for his presidency.
focused, transparent, honest, stern, yet endearing as he told us what work lay ahead, that we must all participate in the work ahead, that he would be president to and listen to those whose vote he did not receive, and he made it clear the with his election, the change we seek had not begun but instead his election signaled "the opportunity" to begin together to affect the change we hope for together.
amazing.
on McCain yes I can say I was even taken aback by the clear, strong, serenity of his speech. I think Mr. Obama's response to him of a debt of gratitude for service, shored up a deeper understanding of Mr. McCain for all of us. put him in context for history and made a larger place of dignity for both of them.
in a word classy through and through

i can't imagine how much shit we'd be wading in if sarah palin became president:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/11/05/palin-didnt-know-africa-i_n_141653.html
for those of you who like awful jokes...
what's the difference between sarah palin's mouth and her vagina?
only some of the things that come out of her vagina are retarded.
