Very short notice, I know but here it is.
Ataxic and myself will be joined this Sunday by one of KC's true powerhouse DJ's
-the one and only :: DJ SKU.
beyond being one the most feared and respected battle dj's in the region, he's also known for his super eclectic and seamless sets. mixing an extremely wide variety of styles into one cohesive product.
Not to mention, he's Mac Lethal's de-facto stage and studio DJ.
Those who know him always show, to the uninitiated you should not
miss this night.

Word. Anxious for this. Ill be in the house. Whyd HH&HW go back to 21+? Me being younger, I know hella people that'd come out. Specially to the One Be Lo gig. Either way s'all good.

it's simple. the venue is an alcohol serving establishment where the employee income is based almost entirely upon tips.
When we fill the room up with people who don't buy shit and don't tip
for what little they do, you end up with a group full of broke and pissed off bartenders and servers. This would inevitably lead to the demise of the night.
Everything would have been fine at 18+ if even a handful of the younger ones would have taken it upon themselves to either
A: cop some food, soda or something besides water -or_
B: they'd tip appropriately for what little bit they do occasionally purchase.
...That said, i wish we had a big enough room to allow us to bring in the youngins in addition to a room full of 21+'s, but until we are granted the upstairs again that will not be the case.

I understand, I'm sure I'd be grumpy too. I've gotten cheesy fries or a soda each time! With a tip of course, but I know all the kids don't always do that. I owe working in the food biz throughout high school for that characteristic. Getting tipped squat is lame and it's true the majority of youngins spend as little as possible.
