Topic: Writer Covers Graffiti near I-35

    I don't know if any of you had seen the black, white, and red work on an abandoned building by the storage units west of I-35 near Margaritas? You could see it best going South on 35. I believe it was OLIVER. [I've also seen remains of his work on the back of a building near Westport Rd and Broadway where Scribe had also been. Unfortunately, Scribe had some sea foam green paint crossing out the work on that building. Anyways, I couldn't make out the name while driving. But it was gold outlining white and nearly covered the white, black, and red writing. It must have been done last night or in the past few days. I was just curious if anyone noticed. That's not cool to bomb over someone.

    Indeed. The building is a killer spot, I'd have to agree.

    I haven't seen whatever is taking up the space right now, but that's an old abandoned grain processing factory, and is easily accessible to pretty much any and everyone - urban explorers, graf writers and the insatiably curious. TREDE and OLIVER covered up an old APE KLAN roller that ran there for almost two-three years... that spot is coveted because of its visibility, and last time I checked, it's whoever's for the taking. Even if the shit up there now is toy, I appreciate the effort. LONG LIVE ILLEGAL PAINTING IN CANS ASS CITY! On another tip, is DASE back or not? Discuss.

I was wondering what that building was anyway and curious to check it myself. TREDE was the other as well I couldn't quite make out. OLIVER seemed easy to read while driving and staying on the road. 😉 As far as DASE..last one I saw was the orange throw-up at that MRI Center parking in Westport. You know, where it forks off? I think it's on stone. Except the S was a Z upside down. That was several months ago when I noticed that, maybe last year even? I've seen one or two in the westside area downtown where I'm working/living, so I'm not sure what's up to date or not. Yourself?

    people get gone over. did they burn it? because if so, who cares. i'm not gonna make a big deal out of it and maybe start some beef that didn't already exist. i've seen more olive fire extinguisher shits than anything else of his. p.s. i'm still uncertain about the dase/daze situation m'self.

I hear ya man. I'm in no way looking for beef with anyone or anything to start. I don't know either artist. I was just curious who noticed it and what the new one said. I figured someone may have caught it since it's so visible. Just for discussion, that's all. Just trying to observe the activity I guess.
