As some of you know, I mentioned a hip hop leadership zine idea I had been flirting with for some time. Since then, I have been brainstorming with those who showed interest in this nonprofit project and have been receiving a good amount of submissions for print to get this baby going! [i:74a2be13fa]First of all...[/i:74a2be13fa] Thanks for all the feedback and participation. I'm aiming for July 15th for distribution of the zine and was looking for volunteers to meet up with at a convenient location. You can take it around to those who may flip through it around your area or something of the sort. I don't care if you just wanna take five or twenty five. Hand them to random people if you want! Keep one for yourself if you wanna get in on it! Hit me up with an email: [b:74a2be13fa][email protected][/b:74a2be13fa] [b:74a2be13fa]Note:[/b:74a2be13fa] If you could please include the time of day and where would be best to meet, that would be killer. Thank you in advance. Here is some idea of content, but it is not quite complete. 😀 [img:74a2be13fa]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v352/faramir245/finalteaser.jpg[/img:74a2be13fa] [b:74a2be13fa]On another note:[/b:74a2be13fa] I'm also taking pledges for printing the zine as well as reaching in my own pocket. It will be easier when the first issue is out and there is something to act as a visual aid for a potential sponsor. If you are interested in pledging any amount or would like to ask around your neighborhood, shoot me an email including: [i:74a2be13fa]Name: Address: What you'd like to pledge: [leave blank if you are volunteering to ask around] If a volunteer, when would you like to begin?[/i:74a2be13fa] I have $100.00 so far. It's a start 🙂 Alright, almost done. I want to thank those who have helped me greatly and/or are participants: [list:74a2be13fa]NRG Brooke JKR70 Approach Beatbroker Sikestyle Beth jayBird Crosby Dallas Lucid Black Clover & Mac Lethal Nezbeat ThePhantom* Trevor Dutch Newman [b:74a2be13fa]->And anyone I forgot and of course everyone in the KC Hip Hop scene for making it so damn great.[/b:74a2be13fa] [/list:u:74a2be13fa] And if you still want to submit some work just let me know! There is still time. PEACE, Delight

It's going to print on the 14th. What day is that...? I need every last minute to work actually. Crunchin' time to get everything collected and formated. I'm hoping to get some printed this weekend though, yes sir. If there are any bumps to smooth out in the process. 😛
