    The show kinda sucked. I agreed with Ben Fuller after the show that it could've been a lot better. I even heard some boos about 3/4 of the way through her performance. What for exactly? I'm not sure. "Paper Planes" was her last song, which she fucked up, in my opinion. Every song she did had longer, looped intros than what you hear on her CDs. And when it was time for her to come in with the chorus on "Paper Planes" she was mad off. It was really up and down throughout the night. I don't know if she just can't sing very well without studio help, or if she had an off night... When Diplo came to the Grenada a while back, I heard that someone wrote on his blog that that show in Lawrence was the worst of the entire tour. I wouldn't be surprised if the MIA show in LK got similar reviews. The one positive about the show was that I was FLOORED to hear Diplo and Switch's beats on a proper system.

    I had a totally different experience. The Blog should be posted in about a day or two. Her PR crew is off the chain. (Merch Kid and Artistict Director) thats on some other, convo not to be discussed here, type sh*t. As for the after party, They wanted to see some hood shit, Club Madrigal would've been perfect. that is the atmosphere they wanted. I voulunteered to give rides but some girls talked them into going into the replay. Her performance could have been lack of heart? Her songs are revolutionary, and it has no sustenance in a crowd filled with bling. I doubt 1/2 the people in that crowd know her history. I was getting mad stares cause I was sporting a bandana around my face. Somebody from her posse said that, "this town sucked," compared to the ghetto they had just left in New Orleans, "These people here are fake!", I again found myself explaining the difference, just like I did to Ghostface, Just like I did to El-P, and Dose One, the difference between Kansas City, and Kansas. i dunno, i had fun get at me peace
