most grime i've heard is good.. but just like any genre there is some garbage.. I like a lot of rhymers from the down under.. check out a guy named skinnyman.. absolutely absurd on the mic.. but sage back in the day is not someone i would've wanted to battle or share a track.. upstage you on both.. his latest album IS amazing BTW.. and for old stuff.. Jedi Mind Tricks - chinese water torture(before vinnie was gun-punches.. fun too listen to and try to pick him out.. sounds COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!) set some standards for underground hip-hop.. Philly is just loaded with talent.. check it out..

that grime stuff is pretty good, along with 2step and dubstep out there. i was put onto the 2step stuff by a friend years ago and got hooked to it. for dubstep though, find some stuff by "burial". as for just british hiphop, you can never go wrong with kano, roots manuva, new flesh for old, juice aleem & the big dada kids.

Roots Manuva Wintess the Fitness is the craziest video. One of my favorites. The beat is sick too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zV4UBDvP5zA Whos the last Emcee you seen in a tight bike suit like that? hot sh*t and ahhh....sports day. he said, "words can't describe these emotions." lol
