This had me rollin!! [quote:b45854cc3b]In the olden days of white culture, people used to look up to Kings and Princes. These were the people that they adored, and every night they wished and hoped that somehow they could wake up and be just like them. But with Royal Families crumbling, that role has been filled by one man: Mos Def. He is everything that white people dream about: authentic (”he’s from Brooklyn!”), funny (”he was on Chapelle show!”), artistic (have you heard “Black on Both Sides?”), an actor (”he’s in the new Gondry film!”) and not white (”I don’t see race”). He has done an amazing job of being in big budget movies (The Italian Job) and having one of his songs become a white person wedding staple (Ms. Fat Booty) but still retaining authenticity and credibility. If you find yourself in a social situation where you are asked to list your favorite actor or artist, you should always say Mos Def. This way you can name someone that everyone has heard of and you don’t look like you are trying to one up anybody. The only possible negative consequence is some white people might think “I wish I had said that first.” [/quote:b45854cc3b] [img:b45854cc3b]http://blogs.browardpalmbeach.com/crossfade/MosDefTru3Magic.jpg[/img:b45854cc3b] But my favorites is: Oddly enough introduced to me by an Asian Co-Worker (@ work no less). wtf ru serious? http://www.blackpeopleloveus.com/

You guys are so funny! Don't you know a whole bologna cheese is less ...than $1.50, including the fried-ness? Complete without the bubble uping! I had a friend (white girl) order a patty melt with no meat, 1000 island dressing, sourkraut, and rye. and ate the motherlover too. Funny thing is, we were at Chubbies, there was a fight breaking out, dude was grabbing for his gun, stuck in his shirt, cops came in. Grabbed both dudes, escorted em out. But we were in the corner booth smokin hash in a pipe, all while this was going down. fun? Good times, or stupid. your call.

I hear that but check this there is a performance artists in portland or that had a site RENTANEGRO.com she created it with the same cutting humor that whatwhitepeoplelike.com has. both sites were funny in a subtle educational things that make you go hum sorta way. I have many mixed feelings about racism, classism, sexism, ageism, that go unresolved except for being able to laugh at myself, our culture's condition and conditioning seems to offer relief from time to time. no real answers just observations as I continue to live and learn sort through some of my feelings. nrg
