Pinky Toe!
You got beef?
Let me know.
I seen some people acting funny.
"Hey, Hey everybody, guess what so and so said to me!" Run tell dat!
Don't approach a nigga! That might be danger!
You know who you are. don't make me name names. cause apparently, my name is all in your mouf. and you doing more hating than loving or action.
You do know my name is Ace Fadal. You do know that I don't give a what?
I will slap fire!
yeah ya'll was'nt ready for this.
I had this dude today, happen to be a non -black dude, non-minority, try to tell me, that he likes how "Hip-Hop" people stick together, how we have a "good" thing going. I had to set him straight. Let him know that their are some people who don't care about Hip Hop, but act like they do. They show up on the scene, certain events, for certain people. But, there are some people who care too much, and don't do enough. I let him know what a hater was. and i had the perfect example!
I told him what the deally was, then made sure to mention to him that, you have those people who don't do shit for the culture, but love to complain about it and the people in it. They also have the power to influence people's attitude and decisions and they are really good at using, abusing, and exposing their beauty or brawn (boyfriends) to persuade other Hip Hoppers.
But a new day is coming. There is about to be a new publication in KC. and it will show the true true of KC HipHop. Not just the bad stuff that happens at shows, but also the good stuff no one reports.
I am so sick of main stream media. What's your choice? Two publications that could give to tears about our culture, or community. They act as if they do, but all you have to do is turn to the last 15-20 pages.
I can promise you, the person who edits the articles coming out, doesn't play an electric guitar and ski. They also have influential children. And they don't work at a publication with more ads than stories (Pitch) and the don't put important news on the back pages (the Star)(did you see the "mike vic's dogs get new homes on the front page, while the story about the Bush administrastion's staff tellin 496 lies that led our nation into the Iraq war?
You can find that two paragraph article on page 8A of last Thursday's edition.
Someone told me tonite that, "Yeah nigga, you KC's most hated right now!" "I shouldn't even be seen talking to you right now!"
I love it!
If you was fake to me tonite, fuck you die! Because Im totally approachable, Unless you are a sissy, you woulda said something.
I don't give a shit anymore. and I aint drunk. you think that HHKC is the only place I can serve niggas. People like the people I am addressing, are the ones that are keeping "ya'll" DOWN!!
Keep that shit up and it will be a room (or show) full of people who only like each other and no one else.
Oh! already happening
I don't know about you but I like seeing people at my show I've never seen before. Especially first time Hip Hop heads. Why would I want to only preform [i:bdee13fdfd]only[/i:bdee13fdfd] for my homies, fam, or friends?
Stop talking head!
I spoke my peace.

Ace i don't hate ya, n wen i get back to town I'll give ya a hug. from some other posts i think phism needs a hug also...
on the real though ignore em kid, if i let it get to me every time i've heard some fool talking out their neck about me, KCPD woulda locked me up years ago n half the kc hip hop (and rave) scene would been shot dead in the head.
keep doing what you do and being who you are, don't let em get to you, they just bored and half em jealous.

breath.....
Calm voice.....
sigh....
I was at two different Hip Hop "events" last night, and apparently some things I said to someone directly, was misquoted, rumored, and gossiped. Someone came up and asked me if i said something to someone about blah, blah, blah.
Then I told them what happened, and mentioned that I was misunderstood, but still wrong, and the issue was settled. She asked me why I would say what I said in the first place, and was judging me.
Like I told her. That don't have nothing to do with you! All in my kool-aide and don't even know how much sugar to add. And I love kool-aide!
This female has two kids, by two different dudes, and the babies are a year apart, and at home with her moms, while shes clubbin, but she was looking at me funny, asking me questions?
The thing is, everybody wants to act all P.C., or buddy buddy to your face, until they get what they want, or need, acting fake. Be real. Because before that girl said anything to me, she was shaking my hand, and saying whats up.
an hour later, after she heard "hear-say", she was giving me dirty looks.
Obviously someone filled her head with nonsense while I was there. The people who these people were with are at shows sometimes, but the girl who approached me, hangs out with my "rock" and "Punk" friends.
She wont see this post.
But thats what makes it funny. I was hoping that what happened between two adults would stay just that. But any wounds that were healed are slowly being opened.
I left and went to a show at the brick, and got a little warmer welcome. However there were people there that usually speak and didn't. shit i seen a few necks almost snap from trying to keep from making eye contact. Thats why its funny. But at least I know where they stand. thats real! Its too bad I'm forgiven, you might have a reason.
I remember hating on someone so hard, because I heard stuff about them, and what they did and said to and about my homies. Then I found out that the person I was hating, had made up with my friend along time ago. But by the time I found out, he had no respect for me.
Its as silly as me hating on Kanye so much. He is still going to say crazy shit. but I don't have to waste my energy.
and again we will never grow as long as this shit continues.
My pops told me this morning, that I should start to worry and complain, when people [i:f6d2d4dbad]do[/i:f6d2d4dbad] stop talking about me. He reminded me of the fact that he works with niggas getting out of the pen (social worker) and that what he is doing is bigger and more real than any beef, song, or your the number of people I might be down with. He told me, "Look at those peoples hearts and souls, they hate you because of who you are, what you say and how you say it." He said, "Especially if you speak for your race, your culture, or yourself. You are a radical, If you say what they want to hear, your true friends let you know you are playing patsy."
Then he said, "I didn't raise no punk, you've always spoke your mind, even if it did get you in trouble, and you always stand by your words."
thanks dad

Thanks for the words yo!
You have to understand that I'm cool with people acting like who they are. the thing that got me was when I was told, in a "joking" way that I was most hated, by certain people. and that person shouldn't even be seen talking to me right now. i was like, "really?"
busters
but another thing is.......
I used to watch my Dad squeeze a lime in a pint bottle of Seagram's Gin, set that mug in the freezer for like a half an hour, slow like tisssss. then take it out the freezer and straight drank that poison, with the inscence burning in the back ground, Otis, Marvin, or Al playing. Smelling the mix of black love, or evening musk, and weed. trying to sneak watching a little peek on HBO with my cousin's. the whole time they were checkin on us, we were checkin on them. real ghetto shit. not an environment that i raise my son in now! but some niggas might think thats normal '80s shit right. livin hood life. you see? but he changed all of that, not more than 3 years ago. My family on my daddy's doubted that he would stick with the change he's made. damn near told him he wouldn't and couldn't, but he did. even after his dad died two years ago. hows that for a test. you go clean and your dad dies a year later? R.I.P. Grandpa Tuffy. he stayed sober! we both laugh at the fact that it took a "bad" nigga from kc to change "bad" niggas in Long Beach. but hes doing it. and right now hes the best father hes ever been for me. real talk. i just wish that we could pull together like the, ha ha, democrats. because this forum looks like the republicants right now. on some hater shit. i ain't just talking about me. my passion, rants, and rhetoric are because i want us to be better than all of them. and we can. but people have to stop being so touchy feely. nobody cares that i said was said to say that i wish we wouldn't work so much against each other. anyway im chill now. just hunting and pecking, thinking and typing. peace. af

thanks for the respect rich and erbody else who feels like special respect is due to me.
let me say that more important than respecting me is respecting each other. you are all pretty aware of this site's mission statement.
so I would say that this statement sums up MY INTENT towards the board, you, the advertisers and supporter of hiphopkc.com
while I appreciate being held in a special place, I more hope for and hold each of you in a respectful place. I know I can get frustrated from time to time with life, how I'm feeling, whether I am content in myself. I try to keep it fair tho in my projection of those feeling out into the world. I do this as a way to respect and manage my self and to show respect to you my community of choice.
I guess in closing I can only say this again. WE CREATE THE ENVIRONMENT AND CONTENT OF THIS BOARD. our tolerance or lack of, how we express ourselves and treat each other weighs heavily as far as impact on whether and how this site, our community, art and talent will grow.
thanks for being here, thanks for the respect
