The thing is, even if all of those quotes were fabricated, these same views are conveyed in his more approachable and watered-down politics today. You don't have make those kinds of comments to be a racist. Ron Paul's fake populism is racist without those quotes. But I'm not surprised. And that shouldn't surprise any of Ron Paul's supporters.

ron paul doesnt stand a chance...anyone see the new hampshire debates...it was actually pretty sad...everytime he spoke, EVERYONE, snickered at him...even the host...i felt bad for ol ron paul...he just speaks in a way that more people can relate to...he doesnt try to confuse or cloud you with words and vague statements...he'll say what he thinks...not necessarily right all the time, im an obama supporter personally, but i like him alot more than romney, huckabee, or hilary....

It wasn't Ron Paul someone else wrote it and they were quickly removed. Howcome no threads were made about racist comments coming straight from a candidates mouth like Obamas pastor (who has went on several speaking engagements with Obama), John McCain, Joe Biden, and Rudy Guliani?

I've switched from Obama to R.Paul and back. However...I believe this is just what the "man" wants. Division. There is no unity in Hip Hop Politics. In other countries, who you are voting for isn't an issue or a secret, like it is here. Politics are open , just like you are talking about music or movies. There is no reason to waste time or votes on someone the nation is laughing at. (Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich) Mike Gravel is the only person I would truly want to vote for! He is the truth! You might as well bow down to one of the machines that will continue to run this nation. get a clue. I've voted, ran, and went door to door for Nader in '96-'96. this is my 4th election. My pastor told me to vote based on my "beliefs" in '92. Anti-Abortion. I did "Run for Life" and everything. 32K (first place thankyou!) Said "abortion is wrong." when I said that, "women have the right to do with their bodies as they pleased!" I was damn near excommunicated. screw religion. stop division. RP dont got a chance. get on the board to elect someone that ain't as deep in the pockets as Hillary and Edwards. Obama '08 oh and.....FYI Obama can't dance. Too often Americans look into if the person has a R or a D by there name and if they got a chance at winning all that shit is irrelevant theres no difference between liberals & conservatives it's all big goverment ran by special interest groups and lobbyist. I wonder how relevant all of this will be once our dollar isn't worth anything and the economy goes into a recession. I'll weight my options here for people that have a chance at "winning". I could vote for Clinton who's a war hawk that supported the Iraq invasion & Patriot Act, John Edwards same, Obama named one of the most corrupt politicans in Washington also known as the lobbyist best friend, who also said he'd go into Pakistan to get OBL (Sending troops into another Muslim country will make things worse). Then on the Republican side I could vote for Romney who flip-flops and supports the war, Guiliani same, McCain who said he'd keep troops in Iraq for 100 YEARS! I think i'll stick to supporting Ron Paul's message of smaller government and making friends with other nations.
