No shit?
I got the M-Audio axiom 49 with semi-weighted keys and the same amount of Touch sensitive pads.
I'm telling you once again. Once producers figure out ableton its over.
It does EVERYTHING a MPC does and more. Once you load your template, you can save it. When you load a song everything is just the way you saved it. If you have a laptop and MIDI controller you basically have all you need.
I would be more than happy to show you how to use that program.
Check it. Just for fun. I went through all of my mp3s, playing them "Live" through ableton. Dragged them into the program, chopped, edited, transposed, and sampled. I recording everything I was doing and did, I basically made a mini mix tape.
I exported it. Then went back and clicked undo. All the way back to where I started.
When They say "Live" they mean LIVE!!!!

Thanks T. I've heard good things about Ableton. I hear you can do just about anything.

ableton live 7.1 is the real deal...
no need for FLstudio, an MPC, or many VSTi's.... all you'll need is a wav editor (I use the new Audition 3).
the learning curve is quite steep, but it's well worth it for a solid production/DJ program.

Okay kiddies. Time to start getting organized!
I will be more than happy to give lessons. However /i'm not sure if its ethical to charge "homies".
We should have some sort of session where we can collab on ideas. I could use some info on how to make my sound more professional. as well as creating an emcee beat, as opposed to a producers song. I need some dates. I am free on tuesday nights!
lets do this!
A little Producers meet up? Trade ideas, and I can give a demo of ableton.
However for starters, I would really recommend going to the Ableton site......
http://www.ableton.com/support
watch and look at everything, and go to the help section in ableton and load the live set. This is how I learned to make beats, chop samples, and import and export. basics.
do it!

Good idea. I can give mixing tips for both beats and vocals.

Sounds dope. I'm only free on the weekends unfortunately.
I don't know much about recording, so I don't know what I could contribute, but I do know about the podcast game.

Just get your stuff together. We should set up a meeting, strictly for production and/or producers.
Post a location, a time, and the topic on this forum. My House is open for a few or a couple of sessions. then meet up. Whomever wants to come can, we can trade ideas or the first couople of sessions we can go over basics.
let me know if you think this is good.
I'm going to brainstorm and try to come up with a better plan to make this work out.
be patient.
