Shit was so live, for those who missed it. I hadn't been to Lawrence in like 2 years.
Spot was packed wall to wall, Quest came out the woodwork and rocked all new material. He was extra swaggerific, new joints are gonna turn some serious heads.
Archetype came up and rocked their set with the band. if you've never witnessed hip hop backed by live instrumentation, it's easily one of the dopest things you'll witness. They tore it down. I've seen Isaac (I.D.) and Nez live but both solo, together they kill it.
Then after midnight Pro came and killed it, along with help from Smoov. If you're working on your live set, Pro is the man to watch. High energy, flow is always in the pocket, controls the crowd, etc etc etc. I always take something away from watching dope emcees rock, my mental notepad is overloaded from last night.
