Ok, I realize that we have quite a few Chiefs fans on this site and in this area. However, is it ABSOLUTELY necessary to black out other games? SERIOUSLY! I would've loved to watch the Pats vs Steelers, but NOOOO, the programmers would rather have us watch KC get snuffed AGAIN. I know you Chiefs fans die hard, but don't you enjoy the game of football enough to wanna watch the better game? That's my two cents....SOUND OFF PEOPLE

Don't worry i'm sure next weeks game will be blacked out. I hope Arrowhead is empty nobody should support that mess.

I won't lie, I would've rather watched the Pats and Steelers. I spent a lot of the day driving in my car, and was even hoping that pats vs. steelers would be on one of the sports radio stations, but it wasn't. Instead I listened to Gonzalez getting hurt, and a bunch of 3 and outs. Mitch Holtus is a great announcer though...

Fair hearted Fans! Get off the bandwagon. we don't want you around come nest year. Full support or neal. I want to see every single game until the flame from the crash goes out. Its been a while but this reminds me of the chiefs way back in 83, 84, 85. I started loving the Bears back then. got me a Fridgerator Perry shirt and all. was ashamed that i ever left when I got back on the wagon at the game where the chiefs had 7 sacks on Elway. I know you seen what we [u:a5353b9534]didnt[/u:a5353b9534] do to the Packers, and the colts. but did you see what we did? a rookie offense ran the colts. Im probably the bigeest chiefs fan nerd. I realized this as I was yelling at the television in the 4th quarter with the score 41-7. and i still yelled outside when we scored a touchdown. Nobodies loyal to anything anymore. You gotta stick with your team through the good and bad. If not, then Black out every Royals game. I hate baseball and the Rollers suck! B*tch*$$ priest holmes should have quit at the start of the season. (my only beef) my opinion. Never get respect, underdogs, underrated, underestimated, greatly hated, and surely forgot, just like Hip Hop, Kansas City Chiefs! Are you glad that your pre-season predictions were right? Go Chiefs! 😥

Nadia I knew I didn't like you... The NFL wants that jack. They have to blackout certain games to get that NFL Sunday Ticket money. I would still have watched my own team, but the Pats - Steelers game shouldn't have been blacked out.

they could have given the Chiefs game to Metro Sports or like.. 38 the Spot instead, but i understand there's contract issues. i still think they need to start showing Wizards games on a non-cable channel.

^^^true. Isn't Arrowhead the loudest stadium in the league?
  16. Dec 11, 2007 11:22pm by phism
yeah. that's the only reason i'd support getting that roof. i think that that's the only thing Carl Peterson does right is P.R.... i think maybe people don't realize that. he is in his position for that reason. in fact, i'd say it's to the extent that he doesn't want the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl. he just wants them to be good, having a winning season and maybe make the playoffs occasionally... so that everyone will hold on to their season tickets and keep saying "next year!"... i think that's how our fans got so good. in the 80s when the Chiefs sucked, when my dad first got season tickets, the stadium used to be empty. anybody else remember Warpaint? i'm starting to think the nfl is sort of fake. at least maybe the offseason. if the packers get into the super bowl this year, i think i'm sold on that idea. - the Patriots started winning after September 11th (Tuck Rule game) - the Saints got Reggie Bush and were good for the first time in team history after Katrina - John Elway got a ring before retiring - Jerome Bettis got a ring in his home town before retiring alright, so i realize that's a little flimsy.

Like Players missing tackles, dropping balls, and Putting points up and defending againts teams like Green Bay and the Colts. Both teams only won by 3 points?

Ace went to Kings games when he was little? I didn't realize you were so old 😯 I don't think the NFL is fake but I do think it lacks some fundamentals because some guys are just out there to get a paycheck.

Sigh. EVERYONE claims their team's stadium is the loudest. Okay...everyone in the AFC West, that is. And if you're going to claim underdog pride, just remember that the Broncos were the laughingstock of the league for years until they started winning and I was an Orange Crush fan all the way, even after they lost four Superbowls and my dad started mowing the lawn every time the games came on. I also thought John Elway's horseface was hot but I was, like, 9. I'd be happy to see the Chiefs play well. Someday... Just not against the Broncos.
