needs to holler at 9th! that new album is weak man, swear...feeling uno or 2 joints. I was wrong about that kanye, shit grew on me but this LB? I dunno man...ninf did good on that mick boogie tape though

I'm scared to listen to it honestly. I like the good clothes joint, I heard this ceiling fan joint or something on myspace and wasn't really feelin it...I dunno. Illmind hasn't let me down yet. i believe I can still trust pete rock too...but they still seem to ride 9ths beats the best...and Nicolays tracks too.

getback is a classic....a breath of fresh air...9th is alright, but he does the same beat over and over and over it seems....im glad they dropped that dude, better off in the long i think...my 2 cents

^cool I didn't really mean to come off as oh ninth should have done the whole album again, but I don't think the beats on this joint were that tough, ninth could have put together a better album hi-tek came with the dopeness, porter had a heater, didn't even know pete rock did a joint if that tells you something and I just wasn't impressed with the album on a whole, big pooh is way too corny now... looking forward to that new foreign exchange but for now, back to my UGK 👿

Oh, I forgot Hitek had a joint on there. Can't wait to hear that. 9th is formulaic...but its undeniable that he can't create a great consistent groove (or feel) for the project. anywayyyyyy.....FE will be fresh.

record is underwhelming. the jams that are dope are CRAZY, the gets all slow at the end, i dunno. i was slightly dissapointed. Phonte is still killin', waynes verse is a wayne verse. big pooh has improved. UGK is killin it, detail!

ARE YALL F*CKING SERIOUS!!!!!!! THE GETBACK IS INCREDIBLE. It's different than their other two cds....but thats only because 9th just did one joint....for what it is...this cd is Instantly my Favorite CD of the year thus far...... no joke....

Atilla its a classic. we need to get over 9th wondra's snare fix and let the brothers advance. The new cd has been in constant rotation. i might have a suprize hosts on my hip hop mixtape. the lil wayne track is in y radio mix for this week along with the new scarface and 2 tracks from cornell west(another sleeper cd, I just got my promo of it and been stuck in the cd player). Theres a remix of talk of the town with skillz i played a few weeks agon at the nut thats hot. its worth the money, plus meeting them a few years back and joking about cafe con leche skit with phonte and amber(true fans will know), and them showing respect to taha. they get support on gp.... p.s. the new scarface is looking like a classic from my advance tracks along with one other project i got i gotta find again...jill scott cd is amazing, plus pete rock and jim jones

It's a good album. but I think all of there other joints are better. Big Pooh keeps getting better. but I think Phonte might have took this album off. Seems he toned his lyricism down a bit just like Nas on his last record. maybe spit to much dope sh** on those mixtapes. But it's still a good album though.

I dunno, I'm definitely a fan of Little Brother and I've only listened to this album once and not even a focused listen. It's definitely dope, imo, but I have a hard time getting past how much weaker Pooh is than Phonte. It totally reminds me of the early Roots....Black Thought is a monster, Malik was serviceable. The jury's still out for me on this one..... Sidenote to Dr. T: PICK UP Blu & Exile "Below the Heavens" it EASILY surpasses this album

I don't know how this could be considered classic really, and I'm not hating on the dudes..I spoke with phonte briefly and told him I went to high school in wilson and he recognized how grimey that city was and was like "wide awake!" which is what they call wilson... anyway I'll give it some more time and we'll see what's up that new Face is way dope

Honestly this is their best album yet. It has a major label ready sound to it, that should've been their major label release. I'm not gonna call anyone stupid for their beliefs, but.... actually... [b:4d468ee38b]What kind of album did ya'll want to hear??[/b:4d468ee38b]

My fave joints off of this album are.... Sirens (prod by illmind) Extra Hard (prod by Mr Porter) Step It Up (Prod By Hi-Tek) <-- REALLY LIKE Dreams (prod by Rashid Hadee) <-- REALLY LIKE the album is pretty solid lyically the whole way through....but like everybody is saying, it's pretty much the production that people are fussing about.... 9th wonder is one of my fave producers, but It is nice to hear LB over some different beats.... But I think that they (9th, Pooh, and Tay) should do like a reunion ep or something.....

For the record I never said the record sucked or anything...nor did I say that the production was gonna suck....I am past 9th wonder...just like they are. I was just saying what the stats showed when I mentioned them rapping over his beats... ...anyway I'm bouts to give the jawn a listen...
