Damn. I usually don't want to post any negatively controversial info on any site... But I really wanted some feedback on this cat. Like I said, I never really understood the idea or concept of the phrase "uncle tom", because I'd never seen it in action. Until now.. Check this guy out.. http://mediamatters.org/items/200510030005 Maybe ya'll have seen this clip from Media Matters, but it was new to me and actually literally made me sick to my stomach. I've seen a lot on my life, but it really struck me how an African American could talk like this.

Patterson laid the foundation for Whitlock's media resurgence. There will always be a place for perceived Black leaders to disparage their own on a national scale. Largely because they will always tout the misinformed biases of those who'd rather not say it...for them. And by those... I mean people who don't look like Patterson.

"I'd grown up fearing the lynch mobs of the Ku Klux Klan; as an adult, I was starting to wonder if I'd been afraid of the wrong white people all along. My worst fears had come to pass not in Georgia but in Washington, D.C., where I was being pursued not by bigots in white robes but by left-wing zealots draped in flowing sanctimony." - Clarence Thomas
