Don't know if this has been posted here yet, but Bobby Byrd died last week at the age of 73. As many of you surely know, Byrd was the right-hand man of James Brown, co-founder of the Famous Flames and the man behind monster funk tracks like "I Know You Got Soul", "Hot Pants - I'm Comin'' and "I Need Help (I Can't Do It Alone)". Another pioneer has passed...rest in peace, brother Bobby.

Seems like we're losing way too many legends lately.
RIP Mr. Byrd. Almost gives me goosebumps to think I was playing nonstop JB last year around this time and now I'm going to be doing it again.
Respect the architects.
