    i mean i don't want to critique a piece that isn't finished... so i guess i am saying that is doesn't look finished...the white background looks "empty" and the header doesn't line up with the main frame of the site..unless there is supposed to be a notch right by the "your account" button. And the header looks out of place floating in "empty" background. Maybe just change the header so if flush to the rest of the site and make a background color...i dunno.... and i am not a fan of these baby food colors either.. haha but i am just one voice...one point of view...

    i definatly like the new look. i actually like the colors alot! the only thing i would change really is around where it says hip hop kc at the top. i think there should be an outline of the WHOLE kc skyline up there. thatd be hot! otherwise it looks dope.

    the empty space isn't helping.. JKR's idea would be cool.. but it might get to busy... man.. who know's there are tons of options.. maybe even and argyle print or a gingham table cloth print..haha

    if you are a person who said not feeling the colors , offer color combos you are feeling. this site is capable of posting color swatches isn't maybe jpeg for? least I think it is give it a try I'd love to look at other options one thing, went with warmer colors for the earthy grounded energy of it beyond that have at it, I'm open to suggestions nrg

    what was wrong with black and blue? gray and whatnot? there are plenty of options for colors that would be easier on the eyes... you'll just have try some out and see.

I 've had comments about the dark background and white text 's effect on the eyes. blue is a coool, watery color, these greens browns and golds are warm, earthy/grounded, and organic. that's what I've been seeing on a number of sites I visit

    change is good.. and thanks for the feedback on my site... the layout of this site is fine. the new front page is better than before. This site just looks like a beta test with the stark white background. and tell those people to sit farther back from the screen. ha jk.. anyway yeah earth tones are dope...they could work for sure.

    I'm beginning to understand now. I think you're saying that because of the stark contrast between the leader and the babyfood green, it looks as if its in a \test stage. ok and does the rest of the site feel uneven in its transition between colors as well? blocky or choppy somehow?

    Since it was blue, black and white lat time (gave me the ROYALS vibe) try red, yellow, white (CHIEFS vibe) don't know if it will look right but just an option.

    thanks les, I have to say that the previous colors had nuthing to do with the royals, or sports, if anything, it had to do with jazz and the influence of my mom. a sultry vibe dark, smokey, soulful, watery ,raw emotional energy like the vibe i get sittin in a club sometimes kind of blue miles, coltrane, cannonball, bill evans, jazz like that had a major influence on me.

    dang, leave for a while and everything changes. I dig the front page layout. I like the font at the header, but I think the skyline gets lost in the massive amounts of white, probably because its a partial outline. maybe bolding that up a bit would solve that. I like earthtones personally, but I'm not the biggest fan of this green-brown. I would tip it further on brown side if you're going for earthtones. That said I do like the layout of it. Maybe the with the central part of the page having this warm color, you could replace the white with a less-contrasty cool color or maybe a light pattern. You know something to make it sit back a bit. Cause right now its attackin my eyes haha. I really appreciate you updating the look of the site Necia. I'm not saying anything's wrong with it, but just offering my humble opinion/suggestions

    they way the information flows on the new layout is good for sure the design just needs to be polished...i am not sure what to tell anyone do but to keep working on it i guess.... good luck...
