    We performed there before, its a nice setup. I like the stage area and all there. Hopefully it will be a good night for everybody to just come out and show what they do.

    Last minute notification, the show has been cancelled. From what I hear the TPD was putting pressure on the venue owner and threatning to revoke their liquor license if they continued to have hiphop shows there. They just had Rich the Factor there last week with no issues. So this is some bullshit if you ask me, and you will be hearing from me about the way this city does minority businesses, independent artists and the like.

    already! the worse thing about it is, this venue has had nothing but success with hiphop, Rich the Factor was just in the Top, no incidents!! and there has been months of hiphop shows with no problems at this same venue, why should hiphop shows be shut down? it is what it is. like metal and punk kids aint in there smokin bud and gettin in fights. gotta love the passive racism of the midwest.

Before you know it they will try this in your city!!! It happened here in Topeka PERIOD!!! It wasnt talked about, but it did start as a rumor. I heard the rumor a few days before the show, but wasn't able to confirm it until the night before when I spoke with the show promoter, then the details unraveled. Don't think you are any different just because you are in a different city, shit Im from Michigan and I'm sharing with all my people back home what is happening here in Topeka. If out of staters are pissed about it, why aren't YOU????? Guess that's the difference in music scenes from city to city, or state to state.....but it's all the MIDWEST so it effects us all.
