Keep in mind hes only been in the game for a few years now so his impact has been marginal if that. I can name a whole list of positive things Giuliani has done throughout his political career. Of course Giuliani has done a lot of stuff in his political career! He's a CRUSTY OLD MAN. I don't really see a shortage of them in politics, do you? It is time to take politics back from the crusty old farts. It doesn't matter so much to me about what Obama has done so far -- not that I'm disappointed in any of it -- but what he is capable of doing. And this far, he has proven that he can get millions of young people excited about politics, and ready to be involved and active and participating in our country's future. Voting for Giuliani would be like voting for the past. The past in which we were all hunkered down in our basements, shitting our pants and watching footage of planes hitting towers over and over and over. AMERICA! FUCK YEAH! I really don't want that inbred fucker taking us back there. I want to move forward. And Obama is the only person giving me any hope that we can wrestle this country back from these reckless oil baron lunatics before it's too late. Sorry for the over the top post, but I've had my share of the Obama kool-aid and it tastes GREAT!
  25. Apr 25, 2007 06:05am by Whatsgood
So basically you can't name one thing Obama has done since his time in the senate? If you can't even name one thing he's done then how the hell do you know what hes capable of doing? He's done just as much unethical stuff as any other politician by receiving money from a company then buying in that stock (which is aginst the code of ethics). He is no different than any other politican I remember when everyone youngster was "excited to vote" in 2004 and we all saw how than ended up most didn't even go out and vote. Seriously he isn't ready to be a president his time in politics has been very limited and he'll get steam rolled by Hilliary Clinton who'll lose to Giuliani. How come something like 9-11 is irrelevant when it only happend 6 years ago but slavery which happend 400 years ago is still fresh?

Forceably carted them off the island of Manhattan, threatened to evict homeless men from city shelters until the courts stopped him: http://www.tenant.net/tengroup/Metcounc/Mar00/homeless.html -Jailed street artists for being a public nuscence, his policies were judged illegal in court: http://www.nyfa.org/archive_detail_c.asp?id=36&fid=6&sid=17&tid=32&date=8/6/2003#news1 -Publicly attacked and fined The Brooklyn Art Museum for holding an arts show that Giuliani considered "distasteful". One work specifically cited was a photo piece of black new york artists re-enacting the Last Supper: http://www.nerve.com/Photography/Cox/Shocking/viewimage.asp?num=4 More on the Brooklyn Museum debacle: http://www.artsjournal.com/issues/Brooklyn.htm I don't know much about his economic policies otherwise, but his policies towards artists and the most needy have pretty much summed the man up for me. It's more than what was said today. [quote:6c75dd629d]I don't see how that was "ignorant" Both are serious how can you ignore either one? Tell me Terrorism hasn't ruined any relationship between Jews/Palestine, The US/Middle East, The Catholics/England. Both are serious issues ya'll are sleeping on one I hope I woke you up.[/quote:6c75dd629d] My belief that 9/11 was an "inside job" makes the issue even more relevant. I'm not sure how you missed that... And I'm wondering how the matter of slavery even entered into the conversation we were having? It seems to me that it was just an opportunity for you to sound off again.[/quote:6c75dd629d] The myth that 9-11 was an inside job is laughable there are many theories and all have been debunked. Go out and by the book "debunking the 9-11 myths". Obviously I was overexaggerating the 400 years thing but it was to make a larger point that both are VERY REAL yet one is ignore (which is dangerous). Slavery = Created a divison between blacks & whites in America. Terrorism today = a divison between Sunnis & Shias. You can't tell me that both are very simuliar both create divisons amongest society, killed many, ect. Agin I didn't say it to offend anyone but to make a point (which you've missed)

And I've seen the debunking briefs and they're painfully quiet on the discrepancies in the official 9/11 reports, put options and forewarnings given to government officials. They're largely incomplete and don't address the bulk of information that 9/11 truth seekers present.

of course purchasing a book called, "debunking the 9-11 myths" is gonna do nuthing but support the claim that 9/11 wasn't an inside job....i personally believe that Cheney was behind it.......they needed an excuse to go to war & supplement the worlds energy crisis & this was perfect... this link dosen't really support the claim that Dick fucked us, but interesting info none the less... http://www.wanttoknow.info/9-11cover-up10pg as far as slavery compared to 9/11? wow...i dont know where the families of the vicitms of this tragedy were captured, sold, ripped of their very freedom & made laborers. Perhaps some more research should be done on slavery, Mr.WG.....again...just a thought..... It's p-nut time....holla!!

[quote:ce5b82b2b6="nadia"]Of course Giuliani has done a lot of stuff in his political career! Sorry for the over the top post, but I've had my share of the Obama kool-aid and it tastes GREAT![/quote:ce5b82b2b6] yes nadia, I 'm looking towards the future and I'm feeling that a vote for OBAMA is a vote for our future potential. yes I agree that he is exciting the youth of this country in a way that no other candidate has been able to. I believe this is due to several things. he speaks of the future in possibilities, he works for concensus building, he knows how to collaborate, he uses modern language, I could go on but you get my drift. OBAMA didn't just appear out of no where, he has been cultivating himself as a world citizen in part thanks to his upbringing his whole life, he has seen a lot of the world's condition and has taken it into his self. If we want change we will need to change as well. you know be the change you wanna see. well we are seeing the potential for change in thsi candidate and we will have to embrace him as a way to resonate with the change we want to see. he is not a savior we are our own best saviors but it can't hurt to have a leader you feel is in step with our visions.

I'm sorry, I'm not done making fun of Giuliani, so I had to copy and paste this over from Gawker.com: America's Mayor is a Liar: Yesterday Rudy Giuliani announced that he had been pretending for years that he believed that the gays should have civil unions—including the gays he lived with when he was kicked out of Gracie Mansion by his spurned former wife, right after he broke up with her via press conference—and said that he would now immediately begin pretending to believe that he is firmly against civil unions. Giuliani, the most rat-faced and most-married of all the former mayors of New York, is now running for President on a platform that his advisers refer to as Operation Two-Faced Gay-Traitor, which is intended to convince national voters that clearly he will use any opportunity to seize power and then turn this country into a morally-pure fatherland united in opposition to both the filthy Arabs and anyone who doesn't want to have sex with Judith Regan—a transformation he can effect in just under ten days, unless he's too busy cheating on a wife or committing incest.

Why can't I just state my feelings huh? And yea, maybe you should consider stepping down, because in my "puppeteered" experience in the military, I learned about some stuff called TACT and PROFESSIONALISM... .. which you seriously lack on both ends, you should look it up. I believe these things are necessary for people in managerial positions, which moderating is. BUT.. that's my opinion which I thought I was free to give. Nadia though brash, actually gets to a point, which side shots don't. Her statements about Jully or Giuli.. whatever, is actually saying something. I'm not gonna pick her statement apart for that. I watch everyone and I've commented on others too. Just like you and others have. Hell, if it's like that I should be crying because Reach and NRG usually pick apart my statements, if you feel like you're being singled out. I had to go look up George Soros on Wikipedia (lookout, Whatsgood! He's Jewish!) because I thought you were implying that he had some kind of link to Gawker.com, because, you know, that would actually follow the train of thought in the post that you responded to. Silly me, you brought him up out of the blue, surprise, but I'm glad you did because he sounds like a really rad guy. Perhaps he's spent 5 mil (pennies!) trying to get Bush out of office because that administration has turned this country into a global embarrassment and Soros thought maybe we ought to try to save some face. You know how we could save some face? By electing Obama! However, how does Giuliani want to lead this country? By concentrating on gay unions and other moral side-issues that confuse and sway the most weak-minded of the American people. Oh boy, more of the same. Juuuust great. If you feel so victimized, Whatsgood, perhaps you should get some of your conservative homies to back you up on this board, if you, uh, have any. It's not our fault that the majority of the people who contribute to these discussions just happen to be people with some sense.

Not sure how Obama will save a lot of face we'll continue to be disliked by many middle eastern countries if we continue to keep Israel as a close allies and Mr.Obama last night stated how Israel is the only country in the middle east with a democracy and is a good allies of ours. He brought up democracy in the middle east not much different than what this adminstration talks about today. Certainly he has another strategy but will it work? We talked and negoiated with Iraq let it be known Iraq was the one who violated the U.N. treaty.
