Musicians Friend is getting ready to move a few blocks north from where they are. but right now they have killer deals.
Sorry I forgot to post this. I got a Powered speaker that runs for about $150.00, I got it for $15.00. I got a 18 inch sub 200w 8 ohms stack speaker in the box, worth about $200.00, got it for $40.00.
I dont know how much longer they will be, "just trying to get rid of stuff", but if you got time. I would check it out. They open their new store in like two or three weeks. i dunno

What ever I see that I want on the site. I call down to the store. 99% of the time they will have it because it is where they ship from. They have to bring it out of stock though so it takes about 10 minutes to get your stuff. But if you call ahead they will have it ready when you get there. 😉
[i:1f4a47fa13]someone[/i:1f4a47fa13] told me that Musicians Friend cant be my Homie right now, the site is strictly forbidden. I have dropped a but load of money on things that [u:1f4a47fa13]were not[/u:1f4a47fa13] on sale if. $$$s. naameen?
sign up for their email cause they will send you sales that they are geting ready to have. I went down once and the MIDI controller I bought was still $200.00 at the store, but the store catalog said $99.00 and thats what I got it for, only cause I had the ad.
They didn't want to touch the mag though, it had slober all over it. Some guys look at porn, I look at the site above. 🙄

beware of what you buy from there...i worked at the friend for 3 and a half years and i can tell you first hand that alot of that clearance stuff if trash. we used to toss turntables and mixers into big ass trash piles full of gear that had been damaged by poor handling of equipment. they would sift thru it, put a bandaid on that bitch, and try to resell it.... people would just chuck packages on the line like they were filled with stuffed animals( in actuality there would be a 8oo dollar fx processor or something inside) not everything is fucked up, but there is a reason your getting such a good deal, believe me...its not like they couldnt take all the shit in clearance center with them, why would you wanna haul your old garbage to your new house??? just a warning thats all...dont let me stop you.

This too is very true. I always have them check whatever I buy. I also suggest not buying something you know nothing about. Another hard lesson learned.
The things I bought were so cheap because they were supposed to be sold as sets. and the other 1/2 was what was broken. You get lucky sometimes. I've went and found nothing before too.
But they do have new stuff. 😉

Buying busted mics there is the best thing you can ever do.
Learn to use a soldering iron and a voltmeter, save $thousands.

I worked there for 3 years too. I was one of the first employees in the shipping department. When I started everyone there was a musician of some sort so we all had a certain respect for the gear in understanding that we were handling someones baby. Then they started hiring every dumbass off the street and quality went to shit. Did you know thier average day ships over 1 million dollars in product?
