yo, i'm a 15 year old hip hop fan. i love it, i love KC. but too often to i go out to shows and get turned away at the door because im not old enough. or see a flyer and get all exicted only to find the age restriction at the bottom.. now i may not understand all the aspects of the matter, and i know those of you that are of age gotta get your drink on!.. but more all ages shows couldnt hurt, i mean if you wanna see the show you wanna see the show right? what are your thoughts KC? peace,

would you consider making your avatar smaller? it really is taking up a big chunk of the writing space but yeah here's some fairly recent threads on the same subject that maybe left egg on the face of some hiphopkc youth cuz they were complaining, it happen and next to nobody showed up. this came after the event from those who did the show: http://www.hiphopkc.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=2732 and this was thread was all about age limits http://www.hiphopkc.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=2544 thought you might find these interesting. another question for ya, is there a street team at your school? and if not. would you like to start one for hiphopkc.com. you can reach me [email protected] peace and Welcome to the site nrg

it's looking like the anchor is going to stop having shows. i know creative mind is interested, but it's not very well set up for it. if i didn't have a full time job, i'd be doing more to start a venue. non-profit.

i know the Groundwork Club is an all ages venue that is moving from Leavenworth to KC soon. they do mostly rock and punk shows, but i know the owner Andrew is open to hip hop, i performed 3 times when they had the spot in LV. i know they're looking for volunteers once they officially move. i can get the myspace addy for everyone. don't know it off top.

the pistol sucks. i feel a little bad saying it because i'm friends with one of the tenants, but fuck that place. and just about every band that plays there and just about every person that goes there. no offense to anyone who doesn't suck that goes/plays/lives there.

Back in my underage days we rocked backyards and house parties.
