What up everyone ? Here is a more coherent outline of what this mixtape would entail , so if your interested send tracks to [email protected], we can also discuss the ins and outs of it through that email address also.
[color=orange:e432edd566]Anyone who wants to be involved should submit a track that best represents them and thier crew, ideally this would be a track that would be also be used on each individuals upcoming release, if , in fact they have a release in the works, this way the mixtape would be a promotional tool for each involved person promoting them and thier crew or upcoming release as mentioned earlier.
Doing it this way insures that everyone involved will "push" so to speak, the mixtape, and really get it out there, as it is in each involved persons best interest to do so.
Each track credit on the packaging would have a short "plug" so to speak, for each representing crew, I believe that getting shout outs recorded for each involved person or crew would also be a good idea.
If 15 persons get onboard with this project, that would involve a 20 dollar investment by each individual to pay the 300.00 bucks it costs to produce the end product as outlined below based on DISKFAKTORY.COM and thier PROPAK package,youll notice I considered the tax and shipping in the above quoted price.

2-sided color front inserts, laser printing.

i have to apologize for being so asleep in my own city, that i love soooo much! I want to give as much as I can. I don't think people understand how much this needs to happen.. For HIP HOP. There is sooooo much talent and diversity in Kansas City. And the No Beef factor should be a thing that we promote. We should do WHAT EVER we can to continue to promote, encourage, and embrace this Fact!

I, for one, have heard all that track entries and am impressed. I was initially skeptical. Cats really have been sending quality tracks, good sound quality, some outstanding production. I think everyone will be pleased when they hear this.

lately been really getting serious these past months,,, its always dope to see collabs like this, my only problem is i have a few instrumentals but dont have any program yet to record. Its all bout to change the next 2 weeks though... but its probaly to late as it is for this comp to send a track. still lookin forward to it.

Nah man send me something , hell I have been working on it since about Jan as it is, a few more weeks isnt gonna hurt, thats the upside to this whole underground thing, I have no deadline, itll be done when its really done.

**The negative parts of this aren't directed at anyone in particular**
I will re post this in the general area as a new post to be sure everyone reads it, I am essentially done , the one thing it lacks, and I have brought this up a few times, is the lack of OVERALL participation, like with the drops that I asked everyone to submit, this was basically a chance for everyone to shout out whatever, their myspace page, their website , their crew, etc.. but I only recieved like 4 good ones and one badly recorded one that is un usable, which sucks cause I liked what it said, I just didnt want this to be a bunch of songs strung together, although I did string them together well.
So, here is what I'm thinking, and no this was not my original intention, I had originally wanted this to exist as a "real" CD all pressed up with art and the whole nine,but other real world "life" circumstances have made me not want to deal with the stresses and time it would take to do it that way, for this I apologize .....
I want to make this available for download (making it only exist digitally) and make a dope banner that everyone can use to promote it .
what does everyone think ?
