I addressed this in your event thread . you are just now noticing that? I've been editing all event subjects that have clubs listed in them for over 2 years now.
is every name of any business off limits too? we could nit pick this thing apart til the end of time ya know but I would love to hear why you don't like this idea that businesses that make money from us shouldn't have to pay for the space to do that with.
this thought is the foundation of all advertising/ marketing ideas. its why you target your market, its why once you find out where they are you adverstise so they can see you what is unclear about this
This site while a labor of love for me, takes up an amazing amount of my time focus and energy just like your design work, I think about what is happening on here and how to keep it going. this site will make money someday if it continues.
that is why as a good business person/ caretaker, I have a marketing plan that currently is unfunded. saleing ad space to businesses including artists is one of the ways to fund this site my time focus and energy.
you, miles, van, and many others in our community arevgreat role models for me and others in that when you give something away for free yall know there is a benefit yall will and that over time these things will advance you business aspirations. When anyone sales something to make a profit, with that profit you then have money that you get to choose where to reinvest it. As I have stated many times for everyone to see, much of the procedes from what the site might make will be reinvested in the site, community events, and absolutely to add to my income from my massage work.
EVERYBODY knows this, so what is the issue here really?
