well how are people supposed to browse the section quickly to see where they want to do?
is this meant to force people to click on the link to check it out further or something?
i mean you have to put the event location in the thread somewhere...but not the title?

All Sticky events are on the jump page in most current order.
so you don't really have to come to the forum to see them.
once you click if the poster is on their job the first thing you see is where
the event takes place
you know the who, what, where, when, cost, age, and drink specials if there are any.
this is not a recent development that posting style created a month after the site forum went live.
I encourage every one to name their nite hiphop and hot wings, beats and bites, the jump off, industry nite etc as a way to focus on the event.
loften in the past, when folks were promoting clubs, if the night ended an artists fans would come out expecting say joc max to be at mikes tavern and mikes had hired another dj without giving notice to joc so joc comes in his fans and he are confused but the club is still pack.
with a name for your night it becomes your event no matter what club you locate it in.
anyways hope this explaination helps every body understand the thinking behind the request for a certain format
