Creative Mind Community Arts Center at 3109 Troost
will be offering two new opportunities for discovery
in KC.
The Revolutionary Edutainment Collaborative will be
held in the Creative Mind Auditorium on Thursdays
from8-11pm.
Hosted by Beth Sarver a local artist and the Director
of Development for the Creative Mind Center. The goal
of this event is to provide thought provoking and
engaging entertainment alternatives for people in the
KC metro area to watch and more importantly to
participate in. Comic and dramatic performances,
poetry readings, music and dance, book and movie
reviews and much more will be incorporated into the
show. Each week will be unique and very grassroots,
full of opportunities to get involved at the center
and specifically with the edutainment. $3 at the door
The Saturday Storytelling Adventures will be held in
the Creative Mind Auditorium on Saturdays from
10am-12pm. Hosted by Beth Sarver. The goal of this
event is to provide a family friendly experience with
storytelling as an entertainment, a cultural happening
and an opportunity for participation. Costumes,
puppets, props and audience interaction should be
expected. $3 at the door

Beth is not currently doing the Thurs & Sat night meetings. We do have the ongoing film series though every Sat. at 6:00pm doors Movie at 6:30.
