I was watching in living color last night and they had a skit talking about the jheri curl and it brought back some of those classic memories of listening to Comptons Most Wanted, Dj Quik and Hi-C.

I keep a copy of Ice Cube America's Most Wanted in the ride. Ice Cube had the dopest jheri of all time. Im sure he's stained many couches in his day.

haha, I was talking with my brother one night while watching the Martin season 1 dvd, and we had decided that my bro would bring the Jheri back, and I would rock the multi-colored silk shirts with baggy slacks and loafers.

Oh yea my DAD got a perm when the Jheri was hot, he kept it dripping too.
He even wore his Zodiac sign on a medalion around his neck.

me and my squad TALIBAN, and yes we were just as offensive as the name, crew back in high school went as NWA for celebrity day during spirit week. jheri curl wigs and all... i really have contemplated growing one...
