***Musicians*** KC area documentary
Bob Moczydlowsky and OUTPOST will be shooting a film on the music scene at The Record Bar Friday, Feb. 23 and Saturday, Feb. 24. The crew will be shooting before and during both OxBlood cd release shows, but it is NOT strictly about the bands performing at the event.
They are hoping to interview over 100 musicians for the film. Please get the word out...the interviews will take place Friday and Saturday afternoon at The Record Bar.
Any questions, contact Bob at [email protected]

Toon knows the policy 100% but since they serve food, the rules are a little different.
I'll call Steve tomorrow and find out the deal.

Yes this is the real question I had when I saw this in a bulletin on myspace
would they wanna film ALL the different aspects of the KANSAS CITY MUSIC SCENE or was it a happening AT THE RECORD BAR?
may we (the hiphop community) could extend an invitation to the folks doing the documentary to film some of our events to include in their overview of the teeming music scene here in kc?

oxblood is a great label... their comp is a good start if you want to see what happening in the indy/rock/emo scene
if enough minors call maybe... all underage events need extra doorguys to watch the kids... if management doesn't think it's cost effective then it's a no go... but do call Steve

the reply from Bob:
quick huh?
Hey Necia...
Thanks for the e-mail. Word travels fast.
Our film isn't genre or scene based... it is people-based.
Though the live portion of the film will include mainly indie rock (we will only shoot the Oxblood Records showcase performances), our interviews will be wide-reaching.
From the KC hip hop community, we'd love to speak with Rich the Factor, Joe Good, Approach, the CES CRU, Miles Bonny or Tech9ne.
If you can help us reach out to those individuals -- and if they can show up for an interview on Feb 23rd or 24th at the recordBar, we'd love to have them.
Thanks... and feel free to e-mail any questions....
cheers,
OK the gauntlet has been laid what say you? the names have been named ?
so it is about showing up at the record bar on those dates mentions miles, joe, rich, approach,Ces and tech
