I couldn't stand it when I heard it at the beginning of the month, 2nd listen was ok, and since the 3rd I couldn't get enough of it... I just wish I knew what they were saying... 😕 😆 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhNSgP7sd9s

Why has Kanye gotten so fascinated with using these light punchless drums?

that's the main reason i thought 'show me what you got' was worthless. there are other reasons. i think he's using the wrong break. it sounds like he's using the part right before the real break, so the song constantly sounds like it's building up to something harder. i don't like the name "teriyaki boyz"... but those guys are more hip-hop than most people. any of you listen to overseas hip-hop ever? zeebra and microphone pager are both decent japanese groups that had some joints a few years ago. actually, look em up on youtube. for a while i was trying to find decent hip-hop from as many countries as possible.

There is a rumor floating around that the version floating around is not the finished version. He did the same thing for through the wire and some of the early tracks that didn't make the 1st and 2nd lp's
