nicem thanks,,, hadnt seen that.
Yo... ITS ALL ABOUT WHAT HE DID WITH THE BASSLINE!!
THAT is what makes his version of that sample sound so much hotter than what anyone else would have done. Completely flipped the whole thing in another direction. beautiful.

What killz me about dude is his randomness of the rhythm. Maybe you beatmakers out there see patterns with his production, but he throws me the hell off. I love it because I never know what's coming with his joints.

I saw this video about a week ago.
Tek is easily my favorite producer in the business.
He's so serious on the button push...

nice vid. for a while i've always wanted to see Tek at work. although the sample was hot I agree with Miles on the bassline. the Bassline he added on top just sets the whole mood and makes the whole track nasty.

I KNEW you were gonna say something about that. It's all good because I looked back at the poll and we see where that stands. Just because he's nasty in the lab, that doesn't mean Madlib wouldn't make him look like he's on a Casio sampling Pa Rappa the Rapper!!!

Man please.
Tek has RE:TOT under his belt.
When ML has anything remotely as crucial as the production on that album then we can talk.

I kinda fell back on that when someone else said they were going to drop one. I can definitely put one up though. That's no problem at all.
I should have one up tonight.

Great video. Reminiscent of the work he did with Mood a while back, which happens to be some of his best in my opinion. I dig his dark stuff...there's some really dope ones throughout Phife Dog's solo too. The Madlib debate is a tough call....it's pretty tough to overlook Lib and his multitude of releases, and then to factor in all the different styles he pulls off from project to project. Plus Yesterdays New Quintet, that "Stevie" record is incredible! They both are a force to be reckoned with...
