Yo - I thought it was dope. All apologies for postin' the doc. Phil joint after this - so I comment to place this back at the top and give it its proper shine. This is an achievement to be proud of. Everybody starts with that one video - so I think it's a win for you and a win for KC as a whole. You on your way - so just don't get into drugs like Tech did and mess up. I showed my friends and was all like ... "hey yo I know that dude!!"
They was all like, "you lyin!!"
And I was all like, "yeeeeaaaaah!"
haha - dope

dope video! i got kinda confused story wise though tward the end to be honest, but it looked fresh.
at what point did tech mess up? by selling 50,000 copies of his best disc in the first week, doing a show in every city and making new fans on the way? im not attacking, just curious. KC benefits from the visibilty of both artist. regardless of aestheic(sp?)

This was referring to an old rumor about him showing up for a video shoot high and them not wantin' to mess with him after that. And don't worry - I don't take offense - I'm just glad you asked rather than just poppin' off. Have you heard the rumor I'm referring to? It was when he had first got on a major label (In all honesty I'm not a big tech-historian - but I do recall the rumor coming from one of his faithful listeners).

Conceptually it was the director's idea.

how do you feel about it though? would you have taken a totally different direction with it, or are you happy with how it turned out? Quality wise it's great and I'm diggin the concept as well, it kinda embodies what you're saying in the song....but just tryin to pick your brain 🙂

I would much rather have shot the video here in Kansas City.
That was the plan initially, but once the director was changed so was everything else.
I'm happy with the finished product.
I think it's a lot more memorable than my own personal ideas, but if I had it my way it would've been shot here.

I thought it was kick ass. Didn't make much sense to me either, but it didn't bore me, kind of reminds me of the terminator.........Reach as the Terminator
I'm sure you'll be back once people start seeing it.
