Of course we get influences from all kinds of places, but who were you influenced by the most. The ONE in your style.
I go GZA.

It's hard to pick just one MC that's influenced me the most. I may get laughed at this, but I'm gonna say Eminem. Hearing him string syllables together and overall viciousness of his lyrics and flow made me want to step my game up. However, my style is nothing like his, I pattern myself more after Nas and Common.

who is gonna make fun of you for choosing Eminem?
Hes arguably one of the greatest lyricists ever and a major influence in my music.

everything about the emotion of the flow, combined with the track. all im every trying to do is match the ferocity of it.
MC-wise its probably more MJG, a close second is Bun B.

The MC that influenced me the most is Redman. His ability to make jokes, mostly about himself, while ripping it is TREMENDOUS!
THE producer to me is Erick Sermon. He chopped/folded/molded P-Funk, and James Brown samples like no other.
If I culd DJ, it would be like Jazzy Jeff. 1988 at Kemper Arena: His DJ set was so RAW, even Jam Master Jay was offstage buggin' out!

I have had so many influences in this culture. I would have to say that my biggest influence as a DJ would be DJ Imperial. He was the first DJ that I had ever seen, live on 2 turntables. I was blown away, and in love with 2 turntables and a mixer ever since. He instantly took me under his wing and has been like a big brother ever since.
As far as cutting and scratching, DJ Platinum. He was the first DJ that i had seen live working on cuts. His cuts to me are so precise. Even still to this day, Platinum is one of my favorite DJs. (To join forces with him in 2007 will be an honor.)
DJs Kiz-one and Mix-O-Flix have been huge influences with me. Both of these guys have been spinning for close to 20 years, and helped me get into the scene here in KC. I am forever thankful to these two brothers.
Another DJ that I feel taught me a lot is DJ Shad. Shad is one of the biggest party rockers that I have seen in Kansas City, or in General for that matter. Shad and I used to do a 4 turntable set at Kabal, and I feel like I learned so much from him.
And of course, The Legendary Joc Max. His style and grace on the turntables is something not many djs can achieve. If I even become half as good as him behind the decks, I can die a happy man.

RZA
When I was 13 and mainstream hiphop was actually appealing, C.R.E.A.M. stood out among the dopeness. I really didn't understand anything about beats, but it definitely intrigued me. Then RZA followed his own footsteps to release solo efforts of the entire clan with production credits on every album. How does one man create so many classics? It's one thing to be dope, but I believe RZA and the Wu-Tang threw a monkey wrench in hiphop that shot out a dungeon style which is still being used heavily underground. RZA (Razor) should be called the Genius (GZA) and the GZA should be called Razor for obvious reasons.
