The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department will conduct a DUI
Saturation Patrol (Wolfpack) on Friday, December 15, 2006 in the midtown
part of Kansas City, Missouri. This Wolfpack will be preceded with a
briefing at the Agnes Police Facility, 1328 Agnes at 2000 hours.
Has anyone been through a checkpoint? What's it like?

you pull through, they check your driver's license, and give you the evil eye, and then you proceed. unless they think you're drunk, then they put you on the party bus to jail.

Pulling up to a checkpoint sober is nerve wracking enough. I don't trust cops.
Every checkpoint I've been through has had between twenty and fifty cops lined up, mean mugging, asking questions. I remember a couple St. Patrick's days ago I got caught in a check, and when the cop asked me if I had been drinking, and I said "no", he asked "why not?", it felt like they were just playing with me, but in a very no-bullshit game of "don't even give us a reason...".
I agree with Rich. Not that I don't do it, but driving drunk is really fucking stupid. Now, smoked the fuck out, shit's FRESH!!!! I'm bout to get blazed and go drive around right now, Peace!
