I posted a while back about scsi problems. Took a while, but I was able to get a brand new 2gb jaz drive on ebay for 13 bucks with shipping, fired it up and all is well again. So thanks to all who mentioned it was probably the drive and for mentioning it's not uncommon for them to go out.

You got a 2 gig Jaz drive for how much? 😯 Man, last time I went on Ebay for a Zip or Jaz drive for my Triton, fools were taxing! HA!

Yeah I just ordered one as a backup too from the same people and got it for the same price brand new as well. I already got the 1st one and it was brand new and works great. The big trick if you are getting a scsi drive is to search the type of drive. If you get it from the computer section rather than the music section you will save some serious cash. The people I ordered those from are still selling them. I noticed they raised the starting bid from 4.99 up to 9.99 and kind of think I may be to blame for that. Link to their store http://stores.ebay.com/Recycle4va_Harddrives_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZ3QQftidZ2QQtZkm Something worthy of mentioning is it is usually worth it to wait. They put a heap of those drives on there and some sold for around 70 dollars. I alway make sure to watch stuff and never bid until the last few seconds. The ebay deal I'll probably never be able to beat was I got a brand new vestax pdx for 48.01 with shipping, my winning bid was actually 0.01, but I'll pay 48 dollars shipping for a brand new vestax. I should probably start selling stuff on ebay. A person could make a killing off of scsi drives alone 😀

selling on ebay is where it's at...one of my boy's girlfriend did that and bought her car from it...back in like junior year or something...just selling stuff you find but don't need?...you can't beat that.

I know someone that did the same, their car happens to be one of those big ass hummers. I'm not 100% sure I won't sell that 2nd scsi drive just off the fact it is brand new and brand new jaz drives are not super common. They sell the same drives used in the sampler section for 70 or 80 dollars. I can see buy it now for 60 dollars with 10 dollars shipping in the near future......that would be at least 50 dollars profit just for reselling something.
