Suuuure you aren't Kramer... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjE0E5lgm9Q The funniest thing about the clip is all the idiots who kept their seats. Or the fact that the club told him he can't return until he apologizes. Ouch...[/sarcasm]

WOW! I used to like him too. It goes to show you that some people ...are pretty stupid. Not only did he ruin his career, but his reputation, and whole lot of other stuff too.

His career was already in the toilet. He just cemented it though...

wooaahh honestly, I dont think it was as much what he said as how he reacted afterwards that makes it so amazingly sad and scary. He acted like he'd been [b:d5f60c75e0]caught[/b:d5f60c75e0].. and THEN at That point you REEAALLY know it came from somewhere not right in side of him... yuck someone who meant it in a comedic / dramatic context wouldnt have eaten it up and sat in his own cirumstance. Its like a bickj wall fell on him, and he let it... continuing to play into this nasty scene... sad sad sad

I like my man in CHicago's comment: [i:d037bc8d24] I really am not one for branding people racists, but clearly "Kramer" has an issue or two. I will say that i have seen comedians handle hecklers with more class, tact and wit instead of having to stoop down to the level of racist slurs and name-calling. I don't know what his apology on Letterman will mean to the black community, but all i have to say is that if ti wasn't in his heart to begin with, it would never have come out of his mouth. You be the judge... [/i:d037bc8d24] http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=43273418&blogID=195782205&indicate=1

...oh man, that was ridiculous. He had to have that somewhere deep down in there. I can't tell if he was trying to be funny [i:886da0ae49]at first[/i:886da0ae49], but whatever the case that went way too far.

"40 years ago you woulda been hangin' from a tree" that was the sentiment that was the most offensive, to go along with the word ya dig?

I am the last person to judge someone until I get all the facts, but this kind of hatred can only come out if it was inside in the first place, like if I got all mad or actually furious at someone, and then started to yell in Japanese, completely fluent Japanese, well why / how could I do that if I wasnt Japanese. Know what Im sayin ?

good points phism, stik.... saw letterman last night.. he is really shaken -up , as he should be, but its a reflection of how he really does not know much about social progression.. etc. I mean when he was trying to apologize,,, he resorted to "Afro-American" what is this 1970? alll sorts of wrong. Not even offensive really, more extra ignorant .. backed up by more ignorance. this dude needs to go to counseling / history school.

If dropping the N-bomb (repeatedly) and glorifying something as God awful as lynchings doesn't make you an out-and-out racist I don't know what does. I have no problem with calling him a bigot. And of course he's going to apologize now that the free world has access to that ignorant ass tirade. What else could he do? Tell 'em Danny... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8HfgFJnSCM Truth is, the real problem isn't Richards. Bigotry is about as en vogue as New Era fitted hats... It's people who cozy up to that ignorance that crack me up. Did anyone notice how many people kept their seat through that BS? The club says he can't come back until he apologizes. So an apology is all it takes to forever make Black patrons feel unwelcomed in that establishment? Anything to turn a dollar I 'spose.

Damn ya'll. Wow. I hadn't seen this video yet. I didn't think it was really this bad. I kind of figured it was like bad racial jokes or something, which, while being in bad taste, wouldn't necessarily mean he was racist, just a bad comedian. But yeah, there's no taking this shit back. This shit was psychopathic. You can't say shit like that how he said it without feeling it. I seriously don't think I'll ever be able to watch Seinfeld the same way again. It'd be ironic if someone got pissed enough at Richards he was found strung up from a tree with a fork in his ass.
  25. Nov 28, 2006 05:24am by Lucidialect
No apology should get him back on stage at anything short of a clan meeting. He crossed the line. And then crossed it again. And again. And then ran back and forth across it screaming, "LOOK AT ME , I'M CROSSING THE LINE, I KEEP CROSSING THE LINE, THE SAME LINE, LOOK I'M STILL CROSSING IT!" Really what he was saying was, "LOOK, I'M FLUSHING MY CAREER, WATCH IT, DOWN THE TOILET, THERE IT GOES, GOING, GOING... GONE!!"

But if he hosts the BET Awards all is forgiven. *Laughing* Mooney's a fool for that one.
