havent been on here in a minute so i dont know if this has already been posted but thought you guys would get a kick out of these clear wheels.

acrylic is pretty strong. i don't think heat would be a problem, but they'd probably be more fragile in a wreck or something like that.
i've been wanting dark hardwood rims for a long time. maybe not the whole thing, just the visible part.

There's a cat out there in KC who has a contract with Dayton covering a wood grain rim he patented and sold to them, wether they're makin them or not, I don't know.
Also, the problem with an acrylic rim in KC would be pot-holes, them streets is a bitch.

just to be able to show off your brake pads and rotors directly through your wheel? (until the break dust builds up). makes for something cool on a show car, but to actually drive on the street, i wouldn't trust it.
