Native Instruments is having a sale right now and you can get this software for 100 dollars (normal price 250). I wasn't going to buy it at 250, but for 100 might as well. The main reason I got it is that I sit at my computer too damn much and it's fun like in a video game sort of way. After messing around with it a few hours I've realized it's got a bit more to it. Besides being a music video game I could see myself making (or at least arranging) beats with it, it would also be good to use for making a podcast or mixtape when you are working with digital files instead of records.
There's a demo on the Native Instruments site if anyone is interested. It's a pretty good deal.
