Somehow I have a feeling Robin Thicke is probably Alan's (or was it Adam) son......you know the guy that was the dad in Growing Pains and also wrote the theme song for it.

Alan has written television theme songs for both Diff'rent Strokes and The Facts of Life. Alan also wrote the game show theme songs to Whew!, The Diamond Head Game, Stumpers! and the original theme to Wheel of Fortune (Big Wheels, which was used until 1983). Another game show theme Alan wrote and sang was The Wizard Of Odds which was his American debut as well as, Alex Trebek.
Funny thing about the whole deal.....looks like he didn't write the "Growing Pains" theme song.
