i've been researching other online communities where i can showcase my music other than myspace and of course, soundclick (ie. purevolume, tagworld) i was wondering what other free online communites people are using outside of myspace to help promote your work?

I've been posting on acidplanet.com for quite a while now. The traffic it gets is mostly other people that have music on the site, the review system is comical at best, and many people seem a bit insecure.....those would be the downsides. The good points of the site are it's a nice clean site (no spyware, loads fast), they have remix contests on a regular basis which is a good way to get out there a bit more, you can upload up to 2 gb on a free acount. Out of all the other sites I've posted music on it is my favorate along with myspace.

i've been checkin out purvolume.com, looks like a good place, the media player is cool. imeem looks more like a blend of a blog community and youtube.com(general vid searches). i appreciate the insight tho.
rapmusic? i didn't know they had a profile feature like that. i'll have to dig into rapmusic a lil more.

They don't have a profile feature.
It's just a website with a lot of traffic that has particular sections created specifically for producers.
