Voter Registrar
Kansas City
Primary Function: To register low-income and minority voters to vote and to gather health stories from clients at local community health centers and clinics in Kansas City.
Primary Responsibilities:
Register voters to vote at a rate of 4 persons per hour.
Interact with health clients and gather health stories about being under/un-insured
Qualifications:
Commitment to labor, reproductive rights and other progressive social issues
Ability to work independently and exercise good judgement
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work well with diverse people
Reliable transportation
Punctual
Type:
This job will be either one full time position or split by two part-time workers depending on the applicant pool.
Duration:
The position will begin immediately and end around October 12, 2006
Pay Range: Depending on experience, up to $10.00 per hour
