Gonna talk to some old guys again tomorrow morning about hip hop...
They said I cheated last time by bringing in Necia to speak instead, so I'm on the agenda again, and I'm happy to pass the job off on someone else this time!
Necia, I'll pick you up again if you want,
and PL is coming, which is good because I slacked on doing any homework. Sigh. I had planned on deconstructing a song like "Get By" by Talib Kweli, with old samples in it, to show how current artists use samples to reflect back to past eras and show respect for past artists, weaving in all these old and new elements to say something new about now....
And then I got high. Well not really. Just busy.

So I'll extend the invite again:
Tomorrow (Friday), ungodly early (8:30 - 10:00)
