Current status of the combined area compilation:
synopsis:
we have No Name or logo yet for this project we're asking for submissions
tracks are coming in, Our Deadline for submission is July 15th we are not extending this date
tracks are submitted to: image at [email protected]
Artists promotional information is submitted to stealth at [email protected]
here's what to send;
your group's name + birth name and artists name of every member
group's website address
email address
1 of these: online place to hear your music myspace,sonicbids,soundclick : which ever one you choose
1 of these: online place you SELL your music ( if this applies)
ie cdbaby, merchgirl,blue collar, etc
rich has every other month radio show he will promote it there
image will receive submissions, create myspace site, digitize for apple-ipod casting
stealth will verify all artist promo info and add to my space site + flesh out myspace with images of our scene
once comp is ready, we will announce operation emailing launch date
erbody get your lists ready for launch date
we need the following
name for project
logo for it
submissions from deadline july 15th
producers for interludes and changes
area emcees/artists to submit tracks

if the artist you listed picked a song they felt was a good promo joint let everyone create a compilation of those songs (mp3's) and everyone emailed this compilation along with artist infomation ie web addys, cdbaby info myspace info, to every friend, family, contact they have and asked them to do the same and they asked their people to do the same etc well you see where I'm going with this
then
you repeated this with a new compilation every 3 to 4 months then our local music would have found the ears of folk that we know will give it a listen at least once
note: this effort should be staged not random, because it would be more effective that way! not a half assed attempt, but a staged campaign.
we should pick a 24 hour window and blitz every fu*kin soul, contact,media, & airwave at our disposal. you feelin me?
if we can email jokes and other stuff around in a circle why not music for the peoples ears to be refreshed and renewed by?

if we, the entire committed and dedicated kansas /missouri hip hop community could get behind who we percieve are our best and support them in their efforts (knowing that we all wanna get ON individual ego) then WE might have a better chance of getting other artists (community ego) ON (attentiion drawn here)
